Disneyland Hotel pool almost ready!

Touring Plans has posted a great picture of the new pool at the Disneyland Hotel! I believe the new restaurants are supposed to open sometime today too! This is so exciting!!!!

Thank you very much for posting that and those pictures look great. I decided about a month ago to forget about getting a hotel near the beach for my last day and booked one night at the DLH as treat. We're just going to spend our last day hanging out and relaxing. I love how this re model of the DLH has shaped up and my kids loved staying there last summer. I'm sure they be loving it even more this summer.

DLH and the Polynesian resort in WDW have become my two favorite Disney hotels to stay at.

It's beautiful , but a bit frustrated because I was told by Disney travel that the new pool wouldn't be complete and ready to use until early 2012 , so I modified my reservation from staying at the DLH to the Residence Inn Resort area wonderful hotel but not the same as the DLH . Had the perfect view of the pool and in a preferred room to,yeah so not to much of a happy camper right now.

Actually, they were correct. Only one new pool is opening soon (it isn't ready yet)--and that is the kiddy pool with the slides. The other main pool isn't scheduled to be complete till 2012.

If you are still upset, there are still rooms left on your dates of travel at the Paradise Pier. These are theme park view rooms overlooking California Adventure. I have heard that these rooms have a great view of World of Color. This would fall under the spring sale as well and be 25% off. Just go to the www.disney.com website and look it up under parks and travel.

Thank you for the tip I just found out from Disney travel that the monorail pool and the little pool will be open and the Neverland pool is going to be closed for renovation. I just got done modifying my vacay pckg. Back to staying at the Disneland Hotel. Although the Neverland pool isn't available we will still enjoy the amenities the DLH have to offer can't wait.

We had breakfast at GK & strolled by to see it, my boys can hardly wait to slide down that monorail

As much as we enjoyed our stay at GCH, next visit will have to be to the DH if anything for the pool!

We were out there last night. It's so beautiful at night. The waterfall changes colors. I'm excited they put nice lounge chairs out now, the old ones were so junky. Having a little one, I'm loving the zero entry and that the slide doesn't dump into a deep pool.
