Disneyland Hotel is it 7 months

Thinking of where to go next year. We would like to go back to DL. How far in Advance is the DLH? Is it 7 months too?

If you mean to use points to stay there, you don't have to wait until 7 months before. I think it is 11 months. I made our reservations for August back in Sept. for the GCH.

I think that's the same question I'm wondering about. Am just starting the resale process and wondering how far in advance of arrival date I can use points for a DLR hotel room (I realize that's not a "good" use of points, but it will work in my situation). Can the ressie be made when you have available points or does it relate to the 11 month, or 7 month window? Is there a cancellation process available like a regular hotel rez, or once you commit the points, they're committed for the DLR hotel room? (I won't have access to the member's site for awhile -- and I'm sure hoping it's better (more informative and easier to navigate) than the regular WDW site!).
