Hi all, I'm not sure if this has been posted yet or not so apologies if this is old news!

We have just checked into the DLH and we were offered the chance to pay a supplement to have a Christmas room, there are only a limited number of these end when we arrived there were two left (although it looks like they can add more).

We arrived in the room about an hour ago and it was definitely worth the money! The room has a large garland over the window frame, a decorated tree with lights, special runners on the bed, baubles on the lights and there is a Duffy teddy and bauble for us to take home. It feels very christmassy in here and we were able to see the room location before we took the room so we have a nice view over the park entrance.

As said I'm not sure if this is old news as I'm using my phone to post so can't review all the threads!

wow this sounds amazing and something I am definitely going to remember for our next Christmas trip.

Sounds lovely - I wonder if it is a new thing that just started as we get nearer to Christmas as we weren't offered to upgrade when we went. I also suppose it would have been an issue for us as we required connecting rooms too and weekends will be a premium on numbers available anyway.

Would love to see some photos and more details - what floor are you on, if you don't mind sharing how much extra it cost (but understand if you don't wish to do that of course). With a park view you could possibly be on the CC floor as most of the direct park view rooms are in there.

I was really pleased with the view we had on our trip, but a park view is amazing :lovestruc.

Hope you have a lovely trip :thumbsup2.

Another poster here stayed in the New York last week and had xmas decs and tree in the room, completely randomly!
She might come on and post about it herself.
It's a lovely idea. :)

Wow, how amazing !!!
We go on Sunday, I wonder if the HNY do this ???
Do you mind me asking how much the supplement was ???
Please post some pics :thumbsup2

We are just about to go into the parks so I will be brief! The room is on the first floor in the west wing facing the park, so we can see the park entrance, Christmas tree and a bit of the station. It is not a full view unfortunately! It cost 129 euros for 4 nights. I will try and post some pics tonight :) edit: added some pictures below.

Thanks so much for the photos and details. It does look so Christmassy - really nice :).

We were on the first floor this last trip - it is a nice floor to be on as everything is so close :thumbsup2.

Enjoy the rest of your time in the park :goodvibes.

that's amazing, thanks for sharing! :goodvibes hope you're having a lovely time (and making the most of the DLH in the cold :thumbsup2)

Love it!! ::yes::

We took a tree with us the year we stayed over Christmas but I think it's a great idea to offer this.
