Disneyland Hotel check-in question

I want to know if I would be able to check in at 6:00am to a disney hotel? I will know a room will not be ready, but I figure that I can use the EE feature for one of the parks and then come back when the room is ready. Has anyone done this or had any problems?

Absolutely no problem to check in that early to use your early entry benefits. Have done this before and several others here have done so as well. Normally they check you in and give you your room key and text you the room number when it is ready.

We checked in at 6:30am in June after a red eye from Honolulu. Our room was ready so we dropped our stuff and were in Carsland by 7:30.

...and yes, you can access EE day of arrival and day of departure even if you don't have you actual room yet.

This is why when staying just for 1 nice night can turn into 2 GREAT days for us!! We love the Early Entry/Early Magic Morning Hour!!

Another yes confirmation here I called the hotel and they told us we can check in anytime that day, we are planning a full pool day!

...but remember that rooms are not officially available until check in time. There have been numerous confirmed stories of people getting rooms early depending on how booked the hotel is....and many others not. As always, hope for the best, but plan for the worst.
