Disneyland Hotel - access to a microwave

On our next trip I will need to heat something for a medical reason. Is there access to a microwave in the lobby?

When we stayed there August 2010, the only microwave access they have for guests was at the coffee shop which was closed by 7 or 8 pm. I believe they said we could use the one at paradise pier which is available 24/7. But being it is for a medical reason, I would call and find out they can accommodate you somehow.

My daughter has severe food allergies so we can't eat out very easily. We stayed at the Grand CA last year. I called them, expecting them to be very accomodating because it was a medical issue, but they were not. They said there was a microwave that we could use in a restaurant downstairs but they would not give one to us to use in our room unless we upgraded our room. Since we drove from Northern CA, I asked if we could bring one and they said yes. We ended up picking up an inexpensive, small mircowave (around $45), and it came in VERY handy!!

I do love the DLR hotels, but have you checked out the Hojo? (Howard Johnson Anaheim)...they are 7 minute walk from DLR but they have microwaves in the rooms and fridges as well...and coffee makers I believe that you can make coffee, hot chocolate and tea!

I don't know if the 7 minute walk would be okay for you (medical reason for microwave)...but maybe just check out other hotels in the area and they could have a microwave in a room for you! minus the disney theming though.
