I am thinking about doing this tour with my mom and two kids. My mom usually uses a ECV at DIsneyland and my kids are ages 5 and 6. Will this be a tour they can do? We are local but the only time we can go this holiday season is on Friday and Saturday. I know that it is going to be crazy busy, but our goal is to ride IASW, see the parade and fireworks as well as Reindeer Round-up. I thought the tour would be a good way to accomplish part of these goals but it won't work for us if the kids will be bored or if my mom can't get around. Any input would be appreciated! Thanks so much and Happy Holidays to All!!!

You may want to call Disney directly to ask about the ECV on the tour. 714-781-4000. I know Small World can accommodate wheel chairs, not sure about ECV's. Is your mom able to transfer or does she need to remain in the ECV?

There is also the train ride that may be hard with an ECV...I agree that a call is a good idea.

Just took the tour last weekend. DMIL used an ECV on our trip. She really wanted to walk on the tours but we asked if she could use her EVC just in case and they said sure. DD 7 was in her stroller. I know and she is a TALL 7 but a stroller keeps her from getting too tired on a 6 day trip. From what we did on the tour, there is no reason why she can't use her EVC. There is also a place to park the scooter behind the seats for the parade. BTW, DMIL wished she hadn't been so stubborn and used her EVC. Her knees were killing her after the tour

Hi Disney*Happy, welcome to the boards.:)

We are local and can pretty much only go on weekends, too. We are doing the tour Sunday, 12/14. Our main goal for the day is to ride IASW, see the parade without staking out a spot for an hour and seeing the Roundup and the new castle walk thru (hopefully it will be open). Maybe a little shopping and just enjoying all the Christmas decorations. So, I am right there with ya on the planning! I have done several tours at DL and they always accomodate those guests in an ECV. I'm sure it will be no problem.

I did the tour last night. You do ride the train from New Orleans Square to Toontown. From the station, we walked to Small World to ride the attraction. We then walked to the Princess Fantasy area for our hot chocolate and gingerbread cookie. Last, we walked to our reserved seats across from Small World.

We had one child on our tour and our guide Chelle included her as much as possible.

Haunted Mansion Holiday was closed when we arrived so we received a pass to come back later and ride in the fastpass line. We also did not get to go into the Reindeer Roundup area because it was too crowded.

If you have any more specific questions, please ask. :santa: I had a wonderful time and the Holiday Tour put me in the holiday mood.

Tink33 -

How much was the tour? We do have AP's. We have considered it many times but always worry we can do the same stuff on our own...

We did the Holiday Tour last Sunday and had Chelle as our guide. She was wonderful and really made a point of including the kids. I thought it was well worth the cost. Walking onto the rides and having front seats at the parade were wonderful. It was fun to walk around DL, look at the decorations and listen to music. I would highly recommend it.

After the parade, we got a pass to walk on any attraction. We used it for Storybook Canals. The CM there told us to keep it to use again. So, we walked onto Matterhorn and the CM didn't take it there either. So, we used it for Space.

Tink33 is right; it costs $47.20 with an ap or AAA discount. I think it's $59 without. I went last week with my sister and we thought it was the highlight of our trip! I was really, really pleased with the tour and wish I could do it again. It's a tougher call when you're buying tickets for a family. If I were to go with my dh and 3 girls, it would be a lot of money for us.

 I broke down and bought tickets for Christmas Eve for 5 of us:scared1: . With the dollar exchange i probably laid down close to $400.00 for this! Here hoping for my numbers on 6/49 :genie: Too bad i couldn't get the AAA or Annual rate.

Thank you to everyone who posted. Based on these responses, I think I will go ahead and book the tour. I will let everyone know how it goes after the trip.
