Ok So the Dh has Said Yes to a last minute after Christmas trip cause i told him i use my christmas bonus. We will be going Jan 2! My Questions are;

1. How are the crowd the day after New Years Day?
2. Are all the Christmas Stuff Still up? And prades still going on?
3. What rides have a holiday overlay?
4. I was thinking of doing a Character breakfest Which one has the best food

1. How are the crowd the day after New Years Day?

Very crowded in your case as it will be a Saturday. Plus the Rose Bowl is drawing a lot of folks to SoCal and many of them like to work in a DLR trip.

2. Are all the Christmas Stuff Still up? And prades still going on?

Yes, through Jan 3.

3. What rides have a holiday overlay?

1. How are the crowd the day after New Years Day? I'm expecting big crowds, but last year we went that same Saturday and it wasn't too bad. We will be there the 1-3rd this year, our APs expire on the 3rd.

2. Are all the Christmas Stuff Still up? And prades still going on? xmas stuff is up thru 1-3, on 1-4 they will start taking it all down, by the middle of the week it will all be gone.

3. What rides have a holiday overlay? As Hydro said, Small World & Haunted Mansion have overlays, the Storybook Canals also have some xmas decorations up, think wreaths, trees and things like that, they are super cute!

4. I was thinking of doing a Character breakfest Which one has the best food? This is subjective, many people love Goofy's but we hated it, the food was only OK and the character interaction was highly lacking. We enjoy the Princess bfast but we like the lunch/dinners better. The PPH will have the new bfast w/Mickey, but I don't know what other characters because it will be new as of this Friday, they are removing the Lilo & Stitch bfast and putting in Mickey & Friends. Our favorite breakfast is the one at Minnie & Friends, the food is good, the characters are plentiful and fun so that would be my choice but others will tell you the food sucks there. So, as I said, it's all subjective.

We like the Storyteller's breakfast, but no Mickey & Minnie. You see Chip, Dale, Brother Bear and the kids get a button if they do the "wilderness hike" with Chip, Dale & Brother Bear. Food was fabulous -- buffet plus they will bring out Mickey waffles.
