Disneyland Heights vs. Other Parks

I know that the Disney height measurement sticks are pretty much dead-on, and are also very consistent from ride to ride (other than Jumpin' Jellyfish, which is way off!) I also know that the CM's are diligent about measuring riders.

Does anyone know how this compares to other theme parks in the area, especially Knott's? DS finally made 48" on our recent visit to DLR, and rode Screamin' 6 times. He didn't make it by much...there was no doubt at all that he made it, but they measured him each time he rode. However, I'm hesitant to take him somewhere else, as if the measuring sticks are "off", I don't think he will make it. Has anyone compared?

I don't know about Knott's. I do know Six Flags doesn't bother checking half the time. My daughter was supervising a trip and sat off when several kids didn't make the height, and waited for the others. One child came off all excited. She didn't make the height, but the loader told her to go ahead and ride. After that, my daughter checked heights herself.

Knott's is somewhat relaxed about the height rules. There's some obvious rides which require height due to restraints on the ride. Other than that, should have a good time. Knott's Scary Farm is pretty cool time to be there.
