Disneyland Girls Only Trip thread

Hi Girls!

I also shopped yesterday, I was very productive. Normally for Disney Meets I have a pink cowboy hat I wear the whole weekend for my friends. It sure stands out in a crowd if you get separated. However, it is in my Owners Locker waiting for my next WDW meet. I decided we can't have a meet without a cowboy hat. So I bought a WHITE one. Woot. So there is another way to find me. Look for the nutter in the white cowboy hat. LOL

Remember we have stores here (Lots and lots of stores) and you can buy anything you want including clothes, so try not to over pack so you can take some stuff home with you!

Well, I guess your hats will just have to be 'West Coast White' and 'Florida Flamingo Pink'.

Exactly what I was thinking!!! A hat for meets in each park.

So how many of us have MM to use while we're there? I'm wondering which day would be better to use it? What do you guys think?

I think those of us buying the 5day pay for 3day tickets all get 1 MM. Not sure about any other ticket combos..but I thought it said any 3day or more had 1 MM entry too. Those with APs wont have them that's for sure.

I dont know what day would be best. I was thinking Saturday because I was expecting the parks to be a lot busier that day if it was nice and a weekend. Friday we will be busy enough with the Tour and lunch at the Blue Bayou. I'd have to go back and look what days are MM entry options.

I have 2 papers due by tomorrow. So I'm in editing fun....I can't wait to be done, my next 2 aren't due until a week after our trip. I need to relax!!!!

Avoiding homework like it's the plague. But I'll get around to it eventually. I have to brief a case for business law and then prep for my history test because we have one essay question and four mini essay questions. It's a lot but I know I'll do alright. I also have to write a response on my trip to the Deaf Event at Porter Ranch and also at Deaf West Theatre.

I am not taking it all in a carryon. So we'll be taking a trip to the luggage carousel, whether you like it or not. I'll let you amuse me while we wait for my luggage to be the last off the plane.

Using just a carryon would make me feel like I was forgetting something.

Debating if I want to add a day at Sea World to our June trip to CA.

As much as I love Sea World, I am not sure I want to go when it's crowded, and hot. Nothing is worse then sitting there on those bleachers, surrounded by people with the sun beating down on you.

I've done that before and said I would never go in summer again. And yet, here I am......thinking about it.

I LOVED it. We only spent a day there but I'd love to go back. Its so amazing that such a beautiful, quiet place is so close to the busyness of LA. Plus, I went parasailing there and it was awesome!

I know it is kinda last minute but how does the photo pass sharing work ? if someone can point me in the direction of that info that would be great.

Today I labeled all your ladies' shirts with names and delivery locations. Then I picked out what clothes I was wearing on what day for our trip. I went on Word and made myself a daily park schedule, including ADRs with what I was going to order and cost. (Of course I might change my mind and order something else when I get there. ) And then under my daily park schedule, I have a list of everyone's cell phone numbers.

The zipper on my son's backpack broke, so I had to give him DH's backpack for school (which was the one I was going to use on our trip), so I had to peak in my closet for another bag to use in the parks. The bag I'm using isn't my first choice, but hey, it'll get the job done.

I also did the dishes, and took a shower.

As for me I have had a delightful Sunday avoiding work! (I did do laundry. Have more to do too.)

Then I went to Downtown Disney and met up with Jill (4FosterKids) to give her something I had for her. Then I went to the Taste Wine Like an Expert seminar with Michael Jordan (the sommelier, not the basketball guy) at Napa Rose (I had signed up back in Feb.--good thing because all of these seminars are sold out). It was a fun but stressful in some ways two hours because I am just not that much of a wine aficianado (which is why I took the class) and there were people there who knew so much more than I did about wine--I was intimidated (which is saying a LOT for me!) Anyway, I think I knew more than I did but will definitely do this again (with more confidence this time).

Then I walked around DTD a little more, bought a couple of pins, a chocolate pretzel (haven't eaten it yet--it's a treat for later, I'm bribing myself) and then came home. Now I'm sleepy and will probably lie down for a bit and then I HAVE TO WORK. IF I DON'T WORK THIS WEEK WILL BE INSANE and I'll never get to Hojo's by 3 on Thursday.

Oh and when I was in line for the pretzel, I met this lady from Utah who is there with her 17 grandchildren--27 people in all--for three nights--at the GRAND CALIFORNIAN. We had a great conversation (the line was long) and she casually dropped that last time it cost $30,000 and this time she didn't know what it would cost--she pays for everything--meals, spending money -- everything. Think she'd adopt US? Unbelievable--and WHY didn't I tell her about Disney Vacation Club?

She would have saved money with DVC, amazing!

Just imagine how much it would cost her to take the whole family to WDW
