So I was just thinking and having a mini-panic attack. Do you think it will be super crowded the 24th since some people still think the 24th is the last day to use your 2fers?!

I'll be at DCA when I arrive up until dinner and from there plan on heading to the hotel. I don't know, do you think DCA would be busy? I just see so many tickets for sale on Ebay, like people don't want to go. What's wrong with them?!

Your eyeballs are making me dizzy

:faint:

DCA has been hecka busy the last few weekends we have gone. However, it felt like the crowds lessened after the PPP (Pixar Play Parade).

Since it's new, locals have been sticking around to watch. (that inlcudes my family ;) and it's worth the wait-- it's CUTE!)

As a single person, take advantage of single rider Soarin, Maliboomer, GRR, Screamin, Mulhulland Madness. Soarin has a longish wait as single rider.. but the rest should be a complete walk on.

Or take the time to do a drawing class in the animation building. I have yet to be in a completely full class/turned away, even on busy days. The zoetroupe in the lobby is nice to watch a few rounds too.

i know right??? I have made out my list and each outfit will have a sleeveless shirt, shorts, capris and short sleeve shirt...I dont care how much its going to be...I am NOT gonna die in this heat....

Well--luckily doesn't appear that we're going to have the same record-breaking heat we had last weekend.

Here is the info for Thurs. Fri. Sat. from Yahoo Weather:

Apr 24 Thursday
Abundant sunshine. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
Apr 25 Friday
Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 50s.
Apr 26 Saturday
Sunny. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 50s.

So I would say we are going to need jackets and long pants in the evenings (at least I will!) Even during the day it may be chilly in some attractions so I will probably put a sweater around my shoulders.

I definitely want to go to the animation building--have never taken the time to go there.

I know this off topic but I am trying to plan the character meals we want to do while we are there. We are planning to do 3 meals So we were thinking Goofy , Minnie and we were not sure on the last one.
We have 2 and a 1/2 year old and a 10 month old any suggestions would be great we have never done these meals before.

ok let me just point something out for all you ladies....where they take the temperatures its not in the area by DL....my friend Andrea and I go very often and she has been telling me for quite some time that you have to add 5º to whatever the temps say they will be and then you get a more accurate figure...and i didnt listen so in feb. when she said it would be warm i didnt listen and i was burning up....sooo Ive been watching closely for the last week or so and will continue to watch up till the night before I leave and the way the pattern has been, it has increased daily by a minimum of 3º from what it said just a couple days ago...so I still think it will be warm enough to wear shorts....

thurs its says 79 so expect 84
fri it says 78 so expect 83
sat. it says 77 so expect 82

thats warm being outside all day

You need a  and a :flower3: . How about a :mickeybar too! (or even just regular chocolate. I wanted the smilie eating the chocolate bunny but it's not on here)

As far as packing all I can say is :rotfl2: I haven't started but I do have a list...:thumbsup2 This weekend I'm going to get a couple of new pairs of shorts and pants (all of my current ones are near falling off from the weight loss).

Also what on Earth made me thing starting school again would be a good thing to do this month. I think I was  when I made that decision... It looks like I'll be doing this :surfweb: for a long time.

I'll be back on later (after kids go to bed). Thanks for letting me ramble...

What an awesome reason for needing to buy new clothes!! Good for you. :yay: And good luck on the with the school work.

Amen to that sister!!
This week SUCKS! Just hung up with Parker's neurosurgeon and I will hear from his pre-op girl tomorrow regarding surgery...possibly on Monday! ugh
(for those who don't know me, one of my sons has epilepsy and has had a very bad week, come to find out his seizure implant battery has died, so he needs a new one ASAP)

Just group me with Shelley, Dagny, Chris and Lauren...I'll be happy doing whatever they wish. If they schedule surgery on VIP day I'll cry!!
I hope all goes well with his surgery.

It is so cute! My kids love the drawing class. And I can even manage something more then a stick figure in there. :rotfl2:

As for the meals, I just booked the Lilo and Stitch character meal at Paradise Pier. Several here said they liked it a lot, plus you can order from the menu if you don't want to get the buffet. Hopefully it's good. :)

Oh my goodness Jill, I am really sorry to hear that Parker is having all this trouble. I hope they can do the surgery soon. Poor thing! Surely they won't wait THAT long to implant the new battery - a week is a long time!!!

I REALLY can't wait to see you guys....

I agree with Lynn, I have been local this year (45 minute drive) and found it is always warmer than what is listed on weather.com

Oddly enough, it has been warmer in Anaheim than my home on a few occasions.. and we live in inland empire area. It's hot here baby!
Alas, next year at this time I will be crying that the snow is still on the ground... but I will be happy as a whine. :goodvibes I miss my family.

Does anyone else want to join the fastpass list? I'm just wondering cause the more ladies we get, the less expensive it is.

Less expensive = better

Okay I'm off for now, I've been on my butt too long! I'm off to wal-mart to do a little trip shopping. If you need anything just PM me, I'm like 10 minutes from our local super Wal-mart.

See you later!:hippie:

Lesley,

I think our group has narrowed down our wish list preference to the Fantasmic preferred seating.

Only can do the Friday or Saturday shows since Dagny leaves on Sunday.

***Ruth would like it to not be the 10:30 Fantasmic but can we watch the Fireworks and then Fantasmic? I think we girls are going to stop to watch the fireworks every night. If someone confirms one way or the other on which Fantasmic time slot is best given we want see the Fireworks, I'll come back and revise this. We can always force Ruth to have a nap to take care of any jet lag she is still feeling.rofl ***

(If we can do 4 things...LOL...Fantasmic, Fireworks, Electrical Parade, Regular Parade...in that order. Friday and/or Saturday is our only stipulations)

How is that for confusing Lesley and her spreadsheet.
