Does anyone have any photos from the new Disneyland Forever fireworks show from the Fantasmic viewing area that they are willing to share? I'm making our photobook from last week's trip, and realized I did not take even one photo from the fireworks show. I would love to have one or two to put in the book (and to relive how great it was) if anyone has some to post!

I do not have any photos as we will be going in September. I am curious what you thought of the fireworks from the Fantasmic viewing area? I'm considering buying the fantastic dinner package and it would be great if the fireworks were worth it for this location as well. Thank you so much!

We absolutely loved it from that location! In fact, in years past I had taken photos of the fireworks from there, but this year, I was so caught up in the new show, that I just watched it in awe and never took a photo! I don't want to ruin any surprises or special effects, but I will say that from the angle of the Blue Bayou area the fireworks appear to be over the projections, and I thought that was beautiful and stunning! Through the trees towards the castle, you can still at least catch a glimpse of Tink and Nemo flying if you look that direction- sorry that is a little spoiler, but you wouldn't know to look if I hadn't told you that (FYI- Tink is at the very beginning and Nemo is in the middle). We have seen the fireworks from that area pre-projection version, and always enjoyed the view from there, and the fact that we were not crammed like sardines on Main Street. We attempted to watch the new fireworks from Main Street to see the projections from there after our Fantasmic night, and even though we got a great spot on the center crossing rope, as we were shoved moving to that spot when the parade ended and then shoved up against the rope by the mass of people behind us, I was struck by the fact that I was not at all sure that seeing the projections from that angle was worth the hassle and crowd and that I much preferred nicely being seated on the ground in the Fantasmic area...I never got the chance to finalize that conclusion as the fireworks ultimately got cancelled the night we were packed into Main Street to watch them. I would definitely say the fireworks were worth it from the Blue Bayou section of the Fantasmic dinner package! In recent weeks they have been combining the River Belle Terrace into that same area so at least right now it is the same spot.

Wow!! Thank you for the info!! I just checked the online reservation system and it showed the only available dining time is 8:00. So I'm assuming we wouldn't make the first showing of Fantasmic which would mean staying for the fireworks I'm thinking won't work? They still don't have the schedule for September 18th posted for show times but it is allowing you to make reservations.

That would most definitely be for the later showing. You wouldn't even be done eating in time to get a good spot for the first show. Neither restaurant has any earlier availability that night? That package must be booking up really fast. Typically after the first show, everyone stays in place in the area for the fireworks, then everyone is directed out and then they start putting people in for the 2nd fantasmic show, so you wouldn't be in the dining area spot when the fireworks were going on. Maybe you will get lucky and something will open up if you keep checking.

We have BB F! Package for our trip and are looking forward to seeing both the show and the fireworks from there. I also want to see fireworks from a great spot and will be fighting the crowds earlier in the week for that, but I'm looking forward to a nice way to see them hassle free.

I'd heard the seating area has been more crowded since they combined- any recent reports on that situation?
