Disneyland Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage Quest Activity

Well.. I found this on another VMK Forums which is where it is also being discussed but this made me wonder as well as the others. This was first discovered by a person looking on eBay. Yes, this is being given off on an eBay auction. You can see in the picture below that it looks very valid and states it apart of VMK.

What are you thoughts on this? Do you think VMK had a plan to give out prizes for this, but with the recent closing of VMK Central/DLR Quests it caused a change of plans? Is this also a reason why the prizes from the Desktop Game got shuffled around? Post your thoughts!


** I was just informed that these talk nothing about turning them in for any reward. Maybe they had a plan for them before, but it got ruined due to VMK Central closing. So far these are nothing but an advertisement for VMK and a way for people to pass their time in line. **

Hmmm yeah I noticed the Disneyland logo and wondered why they would create it if VMK central was closing. Maybe VMK Central closing was something that came on rather quickly and this quest had already been developed and ready to produce when the announcement came to shut down the central.

Like maybe the quest was created back in December and in April they were ready to distribute and at the end of May maybe Disney gave the order to VMK saying we will be now shutting down VMK central. This could be a CM who just wanted to leak this item.

I doubt it was the middle piece. That would have been not to bright on their parts to give it that way. Anyway, it was a handout they gave to all those that decided to wait for the ride to open on Monday. It was basically to try to be some sort of entertainment for them. Someone here posted a pic of it and if I remember right, they were told by a CM a card was suppose to be handed out but it never was. My guess on why would be cause there is no more turning in quests here....as well as the fact that on the first day for that ride the line was so crazy that they were to busy to deal with something like that and needed to just get the guests on the ride once it opened at noon. I'm going to bet that if they were to hand a card out that day it would not have been a middle piece but part of the nemo pin set or something else nemo/sub like. I don't know why they bothered with this though when they shut things down in DL for VMK (did they take the computers out yet btw? we haven't been since last month).

Facnyface thread was only posted today, and incorrectly reporting that there were VMK prizes attached with this handout, which from my understanding there was not.
