Disneyland Fairy Godmailer

We're going to Disneyland! We've made several visits to WDW, but have never been to DLR- we can't wait! It's been almost four years since we've been to WDW, so we're dying to get back into the Disney magic. We've always participated in the Fairy Godmailer threads for WDW, but the only ones I could dig up for Disneyland are from 2013- am I missing it? We'll be there on July 20th (TWO WEEKS AWAY!) and it would be great if someone would send my kids a postcard- we got a "thank you for watching" postcard yesterday for watching the planning video and my youngest got excited, thinking it was going to be like the ones he used to get from Mickey.

We are only going to be there the one day, and I would LOVE to spread the magic to another famly while we're there. TIA!

What is a fairy god mailer? Just send you a note "from" Mickey...?

The fairy godmailer is the person who sends the postcard. It's from a favorite or popular character (usually has a picture of the character on it) with a simpe message along the lines of "Hi _____, I heard you'll be visiting in July, I can't wait to meet you (or see you again). See ya real soon, Mickey". Typically the person requesting the postcard will let the sender know what they'd like it to say to make it a little more personal. People either do their best to mimic the signature or have a character sign it for them. In WDW, the postcards are postmarked Walt Disney World, so it's a little more authentic, but Anaheim is close enough!

It's just a nice way to get/spread a little magic before and during your trip.

I'm pretty sure that I have a Matterhorn postcard and maybe a Mickey one. I could mail either tomorrow from LA, so it wouldn't be an Anaheim postmark, just LA. I've done it before, with a pretty good Mickey signature.
