Disneyland Express/Cab Question

We are thinking about not renting a vehicle for our June trip. I have one on reserve, but I hate to think about the money we would be wasting just leaving it at the hotel.
There are 6 of us and it looks like the cheapest way to go would be the DL Express.
How is their service? Any issues?

Also, we have tickets to an Angels game so we would be either taking a cab or the bus (which I have read might take too long). Are there a lot of mini van type cab's driving around Anaheim or are we going to have to call one special? Is it easy to pick up a cab to go to & from the stadium? We are staying at the Travelodge on Harbor.

I dont know about LA but here in Canada you can get 7 passenger cab vans and that might be cheaper than paying for 6 people on the express.

We purchased the LAX/Resort Pass for up to 5 people for $99 roundtrip. You could do that and just add on your other 2 travelers.

What airport are you "using" ~ we fly in and out of LGB our driver is ~ Ron and his business card says VIP Service (Kim Sontha Transportation). The number is (562) 396-8106 (company number) OR the number where he has always answered is 562-895-6713. We've had a Toyota Highlander & Lexus SUV for our past trips. We pay $45 each way. I'm sure you could find a Taxi minivan.

The Angels stadium is very close. ART goes there. And a taxi from their parking lot (where the Amtrak station is) to the Disneyland Hotel was $13 by meter and took maybe 10 minutes, which was mainly spent at stoplights (we just hit the lights wrong, got every red). Even though I was solo, I got a minivan cab b/c that's who was next, so I'm certain you could call the cab company and request one. Or take ART.
