Disneyland etickets unable to link to disneyland app

I got my Disneyland etickets (military discount) today at MWR. I unable to scan or manual input it to my disneyland app. I read somewhere in the forum when CM scan my eticket on the turnstile, they will give me another ticket. Do i use this new ticket to scan it on my Disneyland app? I am trying to get MaxPass on the app before next week trip to DL.

You will not be able to purchase MP until you activate your park ticket at the turnstiles. When you receive your new ticket, scan it into the app (the app will take a photo of your ticket's bar code) and purchase MP. The whole process takes a few minutes at most. Have a great trip!
