Disneyland EARLY Rope Drop Update: 6/19

For some reason today Disneyland Rope Drop happened at 845am instead of the 9am normal time.
Got to Peter Pan and the Fantasyland Cast Members stated that they did not know of the early entry happening and were not to be open.

If this early opening time continues, I expect more attractions to be ready for an earlier than 9am opening.

I am nearly certain this happened on Thursday as well. We walked onto Main Street at 8:48 and there was no rope and everything was open. So we might have just missed the drop.

Yesterday we were walking into DL at 845 and were free to go where we wanted. By the time we got to Pirates there was already a line. We rode HM instead and it was practically walk on.

This morning we were in DCA at 8:45 and the park was open but not all rides were running. We rode Jessie's carousel while waiting for incredicoaster to open.

Today sure feels a lot more crowded.

DCA has been opening around 810-815am every day.

Weird. They weren't letting anyone in when we got there today. Unless some people were already in and they stopped for some reason. At 830 the lines weren't moving at all. It was like that yesterday when we hopped over. We got there around 115 and nobody was being let in. I think it was around 125 when lines started moving. Maybe it just seemed that way, not sure.

ETA: bumped into someone else who said they did get in earlier. After thinking about it I'm sure the lines would have been longer at the turnstiles if they hadn't already let some people in. Not sure why they stopped.
