Kelly-I sure hope you're feeling better soon and wish you a successful surgery in February. I know it must be frustrating to be held back from your exercise plans, but a month isn't long to wait and best to listen to your body and be responsive to what it needs right now.
Capri--Hope you're feeling better soon.
Wendy--Good to have you back! I hate doctor's scales
SO...
I have a CHALLENGE for all of you who are avoiding exercise (excluding those with real medical excuses and injuries, of course)
COUCH TO 5K WALK BY DISNEYLAND DIVAS MEET
I found a really doable fitness walking program by Hal Higdon's
http://www.halhigdon.com/5K%20Training/5-Kwalk.htm
If you do this, you WILL be happier at Disneyland because you will have the energy and stamina and muscles to enjoy walking and walking and walking around the park.
And who knows...once you get started, maybe I can entice some of you to join me for the Disneyland 5k in September?
And from there, possibilities are endless...
There is no time like today to start. If it's too cold, put on a jacket and hat. If you're too tired, push through it. Even if you're busy, you can't afford not to find some time to exercise. COME ON!!!
LET US KNOW IF YOU ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE!
The rewards await you (and they aren't candy...I'll think of something

)
Don't leave me hanging ladies...
-Jen
