Disneyland Dis- Enchanted

Just got back from my 2nd trip to DLR (last one was 7 years ago). We went to DL on Thursday and CA on Saturday with visits back to DL on Saturday as well. Here are my observations:

Early morning is the best time to go for shorter lines, though during the fireworks is also a good time. During the fireworks we literally walked onto PoTC when earlier in the day the wait was almost 2 hours!

The people visiting the parks do seem to be ruder at DLR. My DD was pushed, shoved, stepped on and run over by more strollers than anywhere else we have ever been. She is almost 11 so it isn't like they couldn't see her. I also had my feet run over by numerous strollers. I have never seen this behavior to this extent at any of the parks at WDW.

The shops at DL were very understaffed. Many times I would see one person working the counter when they should have had at least two and sometimes more. As a result, there were people pushing and cutting lines and the CMs were, I am sure, less than pleased with this situation. I received several curt responses to requests about where I might find certain items but I am sure that was due to the fact that she was overworked. On the other hand, I had a very friendly CM at one of the stores in Tomorrowland walk me over to the correct store so it does go both ways!

The ones that got me were the rude CMs at Fantasmic. Apparently you cannot sit in certain spots, you have to stand. There were people with tired kids and my feet were really sore so standing for an hour to wait was not in my plans. But they kept coming by and rudely telling us we had to stand up when the people in the area next to us were sitting. They wouldn't or couldn't tell us why, though.

Overall, I don't think the CMs at DLR were more rude than those at WDW. I think what we ran into in that respect was a function of how overworked they were. It was the people visiting that we had problems with.
