Disneyland dining plan

I see that Disneyland is now offering a dining plan. We have used the WDW plan a couple of times (the basic plan) and like it but are unsure about whether or not to get the plan at Disneyland as it seems quite different. Am wondering what people think of the plan, is it worth the money, easy to use?

If you do a search of this board, you'll find that the DL dining plan is NOTHING like the WDW dining plan, and that most of us are quite against it. It is different in that you are just given dollar amount vouchers, and are not given change back if your food is less than the voucher, so at best you break even, but more likely you lose money or have to pay out of pocket anyway, thus defeating any convenience a voucher might have brought in the first place.
