Disneyland dates June-July

Greetings all:

I know these dates are not ideal, but can I get some feedback on which of the following two dates are better for crowds for a 2-day trip of both Disneyland Parks:

Wednesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 28

Sunday, July 8 and Monday, July 9

Up til now, I've been under the inclination to avoid the days right before and after July 4. Am if off base?

We've done the days leading up to the 4th of July, and they really weren't that bad. Of course the 4th is crowded, and so was the day after when we've been there.

We've also done later in July and found it to be a lot more crowded (not to mention hot). But it's hit or miss I'd say, it's all going to be the summer season.

The 28th and 29th are the better dates.

Wednesday and Thursday are usually much better than Sunday as it is and July 8th is on a bracket weekend besides.

Considering the June dates are mid-week, I'd say they'd be slightly less busy.

We were there from 28June through to July 14 last year, The June days were definitely better but the park closed earlier as well. We found July 4 to be the quietest day of our stay, I came to the conclusion that it was because the APs are blacked out for this day but we found the place at least 20%quieter than other days.

I would pick the June dates for sure, because of the days of the week. Mid week is ideal, even in the summer it makes a difference. Good luck deciding and have a great trip!

I would say since the HydroFamily will be at DLR during the June dates that June is not as good (it will make the parks more crowded for us if more people go then ). Seriously, I think the June dates will be better for you than July especially because they are mid-week.
