Thinking about going to Disneyland next week. The 18th - 24th. I was looking online for a room and there isn't much available. Anyone know why it is so busy?

Monday is President's Day, and therefore a holiday for everyone.

Many California school have the entire week off of school.

Vacations = Busy

I am sure it will a busier than normal "off season" week but less crowded than say the week before or after Easter.

I swear lately the Parks are crowded every day that ends with "y"! :rolleyes:

We're back to the "a crowded day at DL is STILL better than my best day at work" attitude!

Have a great time, and................

:welcome: to the DL DIS!

DH will be there next week and the entire area is sold out due to his conference. The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America are there, headquarters at the Grand Californian! The GCSAA has 28 of the area hotels on the list. That might be why! DH is staying at the DLH.

Now, the conference is being held at the Convention Center and for the most part these men aren't going to the parks, so they shouldn't effect that at all.

You are hitting president's week. MANY of the local districts have Mon - Wed off. We went yesterday (Friday). It wasn't bad, but more crowded than a regular Friday.

A good portion of families from Tucson will be there as most schools have Thrus (2/22) and Friday (2/23) off for Rodeo.

A lot of CA schools have the entire week off for "Ski Week". Many east coasters also have the week off...
