I am a single working class father and I saved and sacrificed to get my children to Disneyland. Will arrive on the 22nd - got an early close. I have read on these forums how busy it is on the weekends now. I was thinking that at least we will have one weekday (Oct. 25) and now that has an early closure! What gets me also is how I read the park gets super super busy before the parties begin and how DCA gets so crowded that it may as well be closed.
I called Disneyland Guest Relations and they told me these reports are not true. That the people on the forums only say negative things (I told them that I've read many positive things here too). Anyway, they aggressively told me the early closures were my bad luck.
They are also opening earlier on these early closure days so you have the same amount of park hours. No reason for them to charge less...besides the only way for them to charge less on this ONE day is to require you to buy a one day pass each day. Sound fair to you?

And dare I say, you most certainly deserve it! Thank you for making Disney magic. I hope the CM party is wonderful, and you get good weather!
Early closure days also generally bring reports of decreased crowds, so those of you that are going to be in the park on those days might luck out more than you think! Either way, you're in Disney! Enjoy every minute and use the early night to rest up for an early morning.
