Disneyland (California) Cast Members!!

Hello Disneyland in California fans! I'm Cassie, 17 years old, and am in search of Cast Members from the theme park in California, preferably. I'd like to find out what this particular park looks for in Cast Members, because I would adore working first as a Cast Member in the park (frankly, I'd love to be a princess), then after achieving a degree in engineering, join the Walt Disney Imagineers! Any and all help would be hugely appreciated. I'll be in the park over summer for a couple days, so it'd be amazing to have some insight prior to talking to current Cast Members in person.

I am not a CM, but while I was in college looked into the college program Disney offers. I would say start college and then look into that program. You can work for Disney during vacations and such.

I don't know exactly what they look for, but I do know that they are looking for friendly people who enjoy interacting with people they have never met before, 'cause that's what we do, all day, every day.

I sometimes describe my job as "I get paid to come to Disneyland and make a couple of hundred new friends every day".

If that sounds like fun, then you are probably perfect for Disneyland. And, if you get hired, you get to come to work with a bunch of really friendly people everyday.

for friendly people who have a good work ethic. Auditioning for a
character is just about the same as any audition. they look for a
person who embodies the character.

yeah, it really varies on what you want to do afterwards...

if you plan to be at Disneyland for the 4 years in college, i dont suggest doing the college program but to apply for Disney directly...

I also suggest applying now since there are some positions available for summer...
