Disneyland Cakes

Hey there

I am looking to celebrate my dd 10 bday at Disneyland, I did manage to find a thread that outlined all the things I can do/order but I am looking for pics of cakes from Disneyland. There is an official cake thread but the cakes are all from WDW. Any pics out there??? Any birthday ideas, things that are worth the money, not worth the money?? We are newbies so not even sure where to eat? Any help would be so appreciated.

I've gotten cakes delivered to my room twice when I stay at GCH/VGC. I got chocolate cake with strawberries and whipped cream frosting both times and they were great! I called the hotel a week before to make arrangements. When I checked-in asked the cast member to check on the cake for me and verify when it would be delivered. I don't remember the cakes costing too much or I definitely wouldn't have done it twice (and I’m planning on doing it a third time in April). I also remember getting balloons and an autographed picture from Mickey as a surprise in my room one day when I was celebrating a birthday, but I think that had to do with the fact I was staying concierge that time. Both times the cake was for a girl, I wasn’t specific with decorations and I just asked for the name of the person to be on it but they came with flowers.

I posted some info I got from Vacation Planning a year ago: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2377134 They do cakes but only to onsite hotel rooms. Where are you staying?

They will also send cakes to any of the 3 Disney owned hotel restaurants. We had ours delivered to The Storyteller Cafe. They will not send cakes to restaurants in the parks, i.e. Blue Bayou.
