We eat at a lot of buffets when we visit WDW, only so that my youngest wo is still considered a child can get enough to eat and he isn't stuck eating the same thing for evry meal. Thankfully they have a vast vareity of buffets. Trust me no always my top choice, I would rather sit and be waited on after a long day, but I do feel bad for my son and the lack of kids choices and some times the lack of enough food. So my question is what buffets does DL have. I know about the breakfast buffets, we always do the Lilo and Stitch breakfast and for dinner we always hit Goofy's kitchen and Storytellers Cafe. Are there any others for dinner? TIA!

Well, Ariel's Grotto isn't really considered a buffet. It is sit down, family style service, I think I have heard. But you could try that. And Minnie and Friends is more buffeteria-style, but that's breakfast only. So, nope - that's all of them - Goofy's, Lilo and Stitch and Storytellers! But Goofy's, as you know, has a wide and vast selection of food - and I actually prefer the breakfast choices over the dinner - so your family should have plenty to eat there. That buffet is bigger than Storytellers and Lilo and Stitch.

That is the current list. Only three buffets right now. Ariel's does serve like a normal restaurant except you get a tiered server with small plates of salad and nibbling things then a ceramic tray with desserts so it is not all you can eat.

It may seem economical to fill up the kid but is it. It costs

Roast Beef Royal - Slow Roasted, generously sliced, and served with Cognac Peppercorn Jus. with smashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables and cheddar corn bread. - $13.49

That is a lot cheaper for the adults and saves a few dollars on the kid with a drink who at a buffet costs like $20+ with tax and tip. Maybe it is time to give the kid some adult sized plates as kids are allowed to eat anything on the menu. Adults can eat kids food except at the buffet they will be charged the adult price evne if they only eat kids food, the exception is bariatric patients with the card.

We went to the Breakfast buffet at Storytellers Cafe in the Grand Californian last week and to make a long story short, the bacon was so hard i thought I broke my tooth on it when I bit into it. :scared1: The characters are wonderful but not amazing enough to make up for the terrible food quality. Save the money and grab a pastry in the park! :hippie:

dont do buffet at storytellers
the steak was good for our breakfast. we wont waist money getting another buffet when the steak was the best we both every had

That is not normal for Storyteller's. I really wouldn't judge its entirety based on that experience, b/c normally that doesn't happen.

And I'm hoping you talked to a manager right then and there about it!!!!

I agree. I am not even a huge fan of the Storytellers breakfast buffet, but the bacon was totally fine when I had it - both times. In fact, if you are a meat eater or an occasional bacon eater (I only eat bacon if I go to DLR; no other time), you will appreciate the fact that their bacon is like their fruit - extra yummy and sprinkled with magic!! It's delicious! I have also experienced the 'tooth-breaking bacon' issue at Goofy's too, but only maybe twice in countless meals there over the years. 98% of the time, the bacon is perfect!! I think it is just a random fluke thing that happens on 'off' days at these places once in a while, but most of the time, the DLR buffets are actually really good quality - surprisingly good and fresh, in fact, considering how many people they serve. Not terrible at all, in my opinion.
