We’ll be visiting Disneyland this year. Trying to stay on a $10-$15 dinner budget per adult. We would like to eat outside the parks in the evenings. We’ll have a car and would like some reviews (good or bad) about area restaurants within five miles of the parks. Thanks.

Best off-site dining experience: MiMi's Cafe on Harbor & Manchester (directly across from HoJo's)

Worst off-site dining experience: Red Robin south of Katella on Harbor. Extremely loud, worst service and food EVER.

Sounds like the Round Robin in our mall. Although I like their cheeseburger with the fried egg on it.

Coco's on Katella = good!

Mimi's on Harbor = good!

Millie's on Harbor = good!!! (we liked the food we got there more than we liked the food we got at Mimi's, but they were different dishes so it's not a great comparison)

If you aren't big eaters and don't mind sharing, you can share inside the parks and most places don't have any sort of split plate fee (Blue Bayou and Cafe Orleans are exceptions). We got a huge plate of penne with marinara and a garden salad at Plaza Inn, and it was too much for me and hubby. The pasta was around 11 and the salad something like 3 or 4.
