Disneyland area attractions

I'm considering either:

Universal Studios Hollywood VIP Tour
The OC Experience

We're two adults (50ish). Previously, we've done the LA/Hollywood Tour & the San Diego Zoo.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Look into smartdestinations.com
The site lists out many popular attractions in Southern CA. Even if you don't buy their package, you can still get many ideas on what attractions to visit. I used them when I went to Miami in July. The admissions were easy to get and the attractions were pretty good. We went to as many attractions as we could and saved a lot of money.

Maybe it's because I live in San Diego and have driven that way many times, but a tour of Orange County just doesn't grab me. OC is the most populous county for it's size in the entire country and has some of the worst traffic.

If it's been a few years since you've been to the San Diego Zoo, you probably wouldn't recognize it. There has been a lot of construction in the past few years, including a brand new elephant area. It only gets better...
