Hi all, I'm a newbie here :hippie: , with a question:

Does anyone know if the park is likely to be busy at this time? All the info I can find says it's really busy the week before and after easter and then not busy during the last week of april, but this falls in between those 2 times.

Also, do they still do those autograph books that you can get all the characters to 'sign'?

Hello! I will actually be at DL for the first time the same time you will be there. Yay!!! I know they still do the autograph books for the characters to sign but I'm also curious as to the crowd that will be there too. We tried to plan it as late as we can in April but since my hubby's only home for 2 weeks from Iraq, we don't really have a whole lot of time to play with. Maybe we'll run into each other!!!!
Have fun. Hopefully it won't be too hot when we go.

I am interested in this too as we will be visiting only for one day on the 20th. We are celbrating both my son's and my birthdays and I was hoping it woulnd't be terribly crowded since we have only one day. He will be tuning 4 on the 16th and this is his first time visiting DL. I have been a handful of times, but not since 1991 when I graduated high school. I am so excited:yay: and hope that my son loves it as much as me.

I even dug out my old stuffed Goofy and the pins that I got when I visited in 8th grade. I even found an old 1988 Olympic pin with a diving Donald on it.

Thanks for the help and info....

Sara

We'll be there from the 20-24. I'm counting on it being quieter since the Eater holidays are over and most spring breaks appear to be finished with.

My son is 4 also, and I know he is going to be so excited!! I used to live in LA and had a season pass one year, so I've been lots of times but I think it's going to be so different (and so much more fun) with my son. He tends to be a little afraid of characters but is excited about meeting the ones at Disney so I figured if he had the autograph book, that might make him less scared (give him something else to think about).

I'm a single mother so it'll just be me and DS going, we're actually coming to the US to visit his dad (up near Yosemite), and I couldn't come all the way (from Australia!) without a trip to Disneyland :yay:

I'm hoping it's not going to be too busy, but I've been reading up lots so I get an idea of where to head first etc to make sure we get everything done.

I just tried to book April 20 -24 at DLH and it is booked for Monday night, April 23rd (as are all the hotels on property.) I had to change my dates to April19 - 23. Also, I noticed DL closes at 4 PM on Sunday April22 for a private event. So I am sorry to say, it looks like it might be crowded that period. :sad2:

Hi Everyone, will be there, the 19th, to the 21st. Hoping for a great time!! Have a magical vacation!!
