Disneyland annual passes..what a brilliant deal!

I'm sure most of you will be aware of the annual passes on here, but in case anyone doesn't....I can certainly recommend it as an excellent deal. We opted for the dream pass, as the days we were there were blackout days for the fantasy pass. As a family of 4 we were able to get unlimited annual passes for 127 euros each (approx £87 per person) which is actually almost the same price as a 3 day hopper pass (at £81 per person on the DLP website). The annual pass also gives a discount of 10% on any food or gift purchases at any time, plus 1 x 20% discount voucher per pass off meals and gifts. At the end of the four days we had easily saved the cost of one pass out of these discounts. There are other benefits such as extra anytime fastpasses, free gifts (worth about 40 euros), plus free parking, hotel discounts etc. If anyone wants more info then feel free to contact me!
It also gives you a great excuse for making more trips...to get the best value out of the passes...we are going again on 16th December, as it would be silly not to really! Disneyland at Christmas.....I can't wait (though it will have to really impress me to improve on the halloween experience)

My girlfriend are i are just looking around at the best deal for our passes as they arnt included in our hotel price. We would like 2 3day passes but maybe the annual pass would be a better option. We've been quoted a price of around £80 each for a 3day pass. Was wondering where we could get a quote for 2 annuals or if you knew the price.

The dream annual passport is 159 euros per person (approx £108), with no blackout dates.
The fantasy annual passport is 119 euros per person (approx £81), but this has the following blackout dates for the forthcoming year : Dec: 26th-30th, February: 11th-17th, April: 16th-30th, May 7th, June 4th, October 25th-27th, November 1st, December 26th-30th.
You only get discounts on the total cost if you buy 3 or more passes at the same time.
If you can avoid the blackout dates your best deal would be the fantasy pass....this also gives you 10% discount in all shops and most restaurants.

hmmmm.. annual pass seems like a good idea... plus i'd have to make sure i went enough times to make it worthwhile...

where did you get them from? direct w/ Disney? do they have a site for them?

We bought them at the ticket office and then they issued us with temporary passes to get in, and then we converted these to annual passports at the annual passport office inside the park....it was painless and easy to do. if you ring the Disneyland resorts reservations number you can probably buy them in advance, but some people who we met had done this and hadn't been given the family discount.

It is worthwhile to get an annual pass even for one trip a year. We bought the fantasy passes last year and they paid for themselves. It worked out cheaper than buying passes for the 4 days we were there.

As an added bonus we got 10% off of every meal and purchase we made in the parks and the Disney shops at Disney village. Any excuse to buy Disney!!!

We then just had to go back at Easter to take full advantage.


We are off to DLP again on 11th November and have to renew our passes but Disney have offered us an upgrade to a Dream pass if we renew within 30 days.With the Dream pass you get 5 fast passes and one designated day that you get 20% off Disney shops! An offer you cant refuse when there is so much shopping to be done.

I can definitely recommend the annual passport, even for only one visit.
It is worth doing the maths to see if it works for you. Remember to factor in discount on food and merchandise and have a look here

I thought the Dream passes were amazingly good value! As there are 5 of us, that meant five expensive meals with 20% off and five whole days of discounted shopping, you don't feel so guilty if its cheaper! Even if we had only been going the once they would still have worked out better value than buying park hoppers for 6 days.

A couple of other handy perks are free use of the 'guest storage' (left luggage) at the gate (very handy on the last day!) & also if you've got children free pushchair hire. Ours are 4 & 7 & don't normally use a pushchair anymore but they're fab for getting around the park at a resonable speed! And of course, getting in half an hour before everyone else!
