Disneyland Altered Letter Swap: Postal back to you!

Holy cow...everything is so amazing! I wish I had signed up for this one! Nicely done!

Here's my T & E for Main Street. I was going to do a wheelbarrow of flowers with the E, but it just wouldn't look right. I was then going to put multiple flowers on the E, but it was just too much. It just looked better simple.

Also, the paper for the E isn't just a solid cream color likes it looks in the picture. There's also a blue stripe there, it's just not showing well.

Love it!

I cut Jungle Cruise, parade and Pirates last night. Hope to finish it tonight.

Hope --

For groups in which we have 2 letters, do you want each letter in its own bag, or can both letters go in one bag?

And, for the letter groups, for the larger outer bag, is quart size sufficient or do you prefer gallon?

Thanks!

(this is bad...did I already ask this? so sorry)

Both letters (or 3 for the Critter Country Group) in the same bag.

You can use as small of a bag that will hold all your little bags. I plan on using jewelry size bags/snack size for my letters, and those would even all fit in a sandwich bag.

And that lamppost letter is fabulous!

OK stoopid newbie question -

In this example lets use Main Street - I have T and E. I make 6 Ts and 6 Es but can put 1 T and 1 E in 6 different bags. Do I have that right??

Sorry - had a really rough day with toddler today - and brain not working right. Just opened the wine but its not helping yet....

My sympathies...I have had those days too!

I think you have the bags correct.

Pirate & Parade (glare on the chipboard sticker -- looks better in person!)

Yep. Just think of it as a two element swap. Letter #1 = first element, Letter #2 = second element. Both elements go in the same bag. Then all the smaller bag go in another bag marked with your group number.

It's important to double bag, because I don't have a covered porch. If it rains, and I'm not aware a box is outside, or I am running errands, the swap pieces will be protected, even if the outer box gets a bit soggy.

ETA: Just saw Susan's newly posted pieces. This is going to a GREAT swap!!!

More great letters Susan! I started working on my Jungle Cruise letters last night and both those papers you used are some of the ones I pulled to use!!!:lmao: Luckily the letter I started working on was with a different paper and I'll choose something else for the other letter.

My Jungle Cruise pieces are finished. Here they are:

The E is kind of wide because of the elephant, but since the E will be used at the end of either word, I figured it would be okay to have it wide.

We love the Matterhorn. When Banana was little she was afraid of the sounds coming out of it and so I turned it into a game that "Henry" was just saying hi to everyone as they rode and walked past. So hopefully this looks a bit like "Henry". The "t" is a nod to the woodworking designs.

Nice job Stephanie and Rita!

I haven't used anything but scraps so far for this swap. :cool1: Of course I'd have to make a boatload of letters before I actually made a dent in my scrap files...

This started out to be fireworks but ended up more Astro Orbitor/Retro Tomorrowland!
Its gold core'ordinations, velum, and 3 different shades of metallics from DCWV.

Small World~ R~ Ireland. There is gold wires in the center. I was trying to go for a harp. I really liked how Hope picked a country and so I used that as influence and with the 17th coming up, well...
