Disneyland 70th- date speculation

Folks,

We planned to go to Disneyland this summer but have decided to push it to spring 2026 or early summer 2026.

I really want to see paint the night and experience the 70th. I know Disney has said that offerings will pause for the holidays. I really with they would give some solid details.

Do you think it's a safe bet PTN returns after the holiday season?

I think it will return after the holidays. I can't see them only running it from May-Aug. I think it will probably come back as a weekend entertainment offering, similar to Fantasmic.

Whether it will be around next summer is another question.

Echoing LKing, I think most weekends will have most offerings. Around spring break we should have a few weeks where all offerings will be happening

I will say, not sure if Pixar Dance Party and Rex will still be here but the other nighttime shows should be until basically next summer

PTN and the new world of color would be my major draw. Will deff do a weekend. Thank you! We are tentatively planning spring 2026

I think Rex is part of Toy Story's 30th Anniversary. Disney Parks Blog says "for a limited time."

They will decorate the castle and the parks and will have the Christmas Fantasy Parade instead of Paint the Night.

I went back and looked at my pictures of the castle for Disney's 100th.

This was November 5 2023 - before the official start of the holidays.



This was November 26, 2023 - after holidays started. Notice they changed the banners and I think the 100 placard was removed.

Thanks. I was really hoping we'd still see some 70th stuff during our December trip so that's kind of a bummer. But maybe it will still be up in June 2026 when we (hope to) go back!

We would really prefer to push to June 2026 for our anniversary, but I don't want to risk missing out on the 70th. My hope is goes through summer 2026 to the end.

I'm looking at March/April dates too..
