Disneyland 1 day park hopper or 2 day single park

I've never purchased a park hopper and have never regretted it. You just plan one day at each park, take a break in the middle of the day and go back to the same park. I've honestly never really understood the allure of park hoppers especially when you factor in the cost

I would always to 2 day base ticket and then on my 3ed day get a park hopper for whatever i did not finish the other 2 days. but i agree base tickets in Disneyland are better and its getting to the point were Disney World will be their to. for now Animal kingdom and Hollywood studios are half day parks. so once they fix that then i will get a 4 day base ticket.
