Disney helped with an Extreme home makeover this past season. A little girl wanted the cancer ward of the local hospital jazzed up and Disney folks helped quite a bit. Also a couple of years ago I nominated one of my dd's teachers for the teacher award. I am thinking of doing it this year again too. She has some awesome teachers.
