DisneyDirect orders...hasn't shipped yet?

I complained in an email about the slow shipping--didn't ship till a week after I ordered and they gave me free shipping. I didn't get in on the free shipping deal. Maybe worth a try if you didn't get free shipping.
 
My order from 6/26 arrived today.
2 of the Disney Logo tshirts were out of stock at time the order was packed.
1 navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a flag on the front was also out of stock.
1 Beach Towel was also not available when the package shipped.

I did get 2 Disney Logo Tshirts, 3 sets of flannel pjs and another Mickey tshirt.

On the Disney Direct website it still shows my order as being in process with all items I ordered being at the distribution center. Maybe Disney Direct is way behind at updating their system or something.

I was told it shipped after I emailed inquiring about it. My friend is selling me one of the logo tshirts I didn't get.
 
I got the email today that it shipped out yesterday. PLEASE let it make it here by Thursday.
 

Got my order today....I ordered the same sizes of Disney Logo shirts as last year only in orange. The sizes are so much smaller! DH will never fit into the medium (I will) and they are probably out of large but even if they aren't, I'll have to pay for shipping again! I knew I should have ordered extra sizes and returned them to DS if they were off.
 
i placed 2 orders on June 30th one in the morning and one at night. I got one thing from them. It was on the order i put through at night. It was sent out dhl but then took to my post office! They are strange and how they do this stuff! Just gets me thinking if i should call about my other order from the moring. What a mess they have! Also did not know that you could buy the and return at the disney store. Thanks for the info people.
 
It did come via USPS.

I let the girls have the set of sheets for the queen bed that they share.

I am keeping the rest as surpises for our next trip to WDW in Oct.

My 7 Disney logo T-shirts arrived today. I ordered them last week. The correct colors and sizes came but I was disappointed with the quality. They are thin shirts and the logo doesn't look like it will last many washings.

I also ordered two of the character pajama sets, both size 8. They came today and one is a size 10, the other a 12. The 10 will be pretty big on my 6 year old grandson but it may shrink. :) The 12 can just stay in it's bag for a year or two.

I'm just happy the prices were discounted as much as they were or I would have been pretty upset.
 
I am disappointed in the quality of the sweatshirts as well. They are very thin for the price. I had a gift card to use on part of it, so I went ahead and spent the 22 dollars. I ordered DD the personalized "Birthday Princess" sweatshirt which is very cute, unfortunately it has a ton of creases and wrinkles on it, I think from where they pressed on the design. Ironing hasn't helped. I even sent the first one I got back to have them redo it thinking it was a fluke--it wasn't! :guilty:

Also, customer service is lacking. The first sweatshirt I shipped back, they credited the amount back to my credit card. When the replacement shirt shipped, they charged it back to my card, but charged a higher amount (I had originally used a 10% off code) When I called for the adjustment the c/s rep said that when I originally bought the shirt it was "on sale" and now it wasn't so that's why they charged the higher amount. So then she proceeds to tell me she "will credit the amount back to my card AS A COURTESY"! :confused3 I almost died....gee, thanks for crediting me back the amount I originally spent!
I thought if only she had just said "I will go ahead and credit your account...."!

And now I will probably be shipping the replacement shirt back as well unless I can figure out how to get the creases out. Not looking forward to that!! :sad2:
 
I finally got my order too. Ordered 6/30 received 7/9. I also ordered tee shirt, and was dissapointed in the quality. Seemed like undershirts with a pale thin blurry imprint. ordered shorts and they were ok but not as nice as past years. Also just imprinted with crumby logo not embroidered like previous years and not as heavy. I also got the princess sheets and they were nice. I'm glad all this stuff was on sale or I would have been really upset. The quality seems to be getting worse. I hope it imroves. Are they owned by Childrens Place. I thought it was just the stand alone stores. Oh well I guess its good I won't be tempted to buy more. :earsgirl:
 
:cool1: :cool1: I finally received my order on Saturday!!! I had ordered 5 beach towels w/2 of them personalized. The only disappointing thing was that they are very thin......how is one supposed to dry off w/a thin towel???? :confused3 Oh, well, at least I got them on time!!!! :banana:
 
Still have not gotten mine but now is it worth it! I bought the tee shirts too in navy. Oh boy cant wait!
 
I got my order yesterday (7/11), placed it on 6/28 so it took quite a while!

The tees are really thin & everything seemed to run really HUGE! I didn't get part of the bathroom set that I ordered so I'll have to get in touch with them today and see if it is still available-ugh.

Hope everyone gets their items soon! :)

OMGosh you're not kidding. :( I ordered DD a disney logo shirt and shorts, they're so big. Like she can sleep in the tshirt big and the shorts reach past her knees. The adult sizes are huge too, if you're ordering be sure to go one size smaller. I doubled checked the sizing chart, whoever did it made a HUGE mistake.
 
Got mine today! Will open then later when the kids are sleeping. Will let you know how it goes!
 
I had the same thing happen~~ I ordered the red luggage on 6/29 and it didn't come, so I checked the site, and it always said it was in the distribution center, BUT it worked out great for me,~~~I got an email about the newest sale with free shipping and I noticed that the black and blue FINALLY went on sale also (I originally wanted the black!) so I canceled the red and re-ordered the black! yipee~!! now I get to wait for it!!

and wait....
and wait.....


better be here before I go in november!! :)
 
I got my stuff open last night. The shirts where too big but they will do for the trip! Got my DD the dress up dresses they are really nice. Also got the shoes and wigs to go with them. I am so happy with it all!

I have been having major c/s issues with these guys! I posted above about the personalized sweatshirt and not getting my 10% off. Well, I just received an email saying that my order had shipped, when I didn't order anything! :confused3

So I just called them and this is what happened...the last time I called I was thinking about trying to order one of the personalized shirts and returning their defective sweatshirt. I had gone through the whole process like I was going to order it when I realized that I had used a gift card for part of my purchase and wanted to wait to place the order so I could make sure I got that credit. I never even got to the part about giving her my credit card info for the shirt. At the end of the call, she asked me again about me wanting to place the order for the shirt--I again told her I did not want to order it because I wanted my gift card credit back first, and I wasn't even sure if I was going to order it at this point (because of the lack of c/s I was getting).

So I am sure you can guess what happened....the order went through anyway....GEEZ!!! So, the guy I just talked to was definitly the most helpful--he told me to write "return to sender" and once they got it back, then they would give me my credit...I told him I wanted the credit now. (nicely of course :teeth: ) He ended up crediting back my credit card now (supposedly!) and in addition, crediting me back my original S & H charge. So that's the good news.

The funny part of this whole thing is that the lady told me that the personalized shirts were on back order until October----guess not. They told me the exact same thing a few months back when I needed to send back my dad's (not working) watch that he had had for only 6 months. (Even though they were shown on the website as available.)

And that, will most definitly be my last order with Disney Direct. ;)
