Disneyana Mystery Event-August

I just spoke to event services regarding the Disneyana Mystery Event for August 22 to 24th. She said that they are not sure if they are going to have a public day. This is better than "no public day". If anyone hears anything different, please post.

Hello fellow Conventioneer.

I just got the word on the 5th Annual Disney Animation event. It is being held August 18 - 23. They are holding it at the Contemporary instead of at the Disney Institute.

So, I will probably do an event only Convention admission and miss the first day and a half. I should be available for the evening events.

Have we polled who is returning this year?

Whether I'm coming or not seems to change daily! First I was definitely going, for the whole week. Then my store manager got pregnant so I wasn't going (she'll be on maternity leave so I can't leave town for the whole week). I then decided that I'd rather go for a few days than none at all, so I was going. Now, my fiance's been laid off so I'm not sure again. The agony!

Glad to hear that there might be a public day, maybe I can at least get down for that!

Dave you just made my day!!!!! I have been wanting to attend an animation event since the first one back in 1998. Unfortunately I can not get a week off from work at that time of the year. The last 2 weeks of August are my vacation so I AM THERE!!!!

Rick and I are registered to go, but I will be calling now to cancel-- we're going to go to the Sept Pin event and I just can't get down there 2 times that close together.

But it was really nice to have so many people ask us to come in Sept-- it's nice to feel loved! LOL
