Also, on YES site it will not let you purchase just child's ticket without at least one adult ticket being purchased too; even if the child is 13 or older, the registration will not go through and indicates there must be an adult purchasing as well.

I would still call, it doesn't hurt to ask despite what the online enrollment message is; if kids are 13 yr or older than can attend class without an adult but online registration is still stating adult needs to purchase too - maybe there's a glitch.

When you do EMH you are supposed to show your room key, not your tickets. When people show their "tickets" that are on their room key they are actually looking to make sure that you are staying at WDW, not seeing anything about your tickets. If you buy NE tickets and leave them on your MYW card, if they catch that your dates are old on the card they aren't supposed to let you ride. I doubt they are good for EMH if you are staying offsite, but it doesn't hurt to call and ask. I would guess that if you get in for an AM EMH on your class day it's due to the fact that you have a class, not because of the EMH.

I'm pretty sure that EMH eligibility is dependent upon your stay at a Disney resort and not your park tickets. You have to be staying at a participating resort. If you are, then you can attend morning and evening EMH with your YES tickets or whatever other tickets you have. There may be some tickets that don't allow EMH, but I've never come across one. (I've never been to DL, only WDW, so I'm not sure how it works there.)

YES tickets work for Extra Magic Hours Mornings at WDW, I'd guess that is the same at Disneyland too but give them a call to be sure.

The previous enrollment screen used to say the 1 day price was also for AP holders. Kind of stinks that they would remove that from AP holders. It seems wrong to charge for a full 3 days when the tickets do expire. At least with regular packages, the ticket that we're forced to purchase can be used at a later date. I waited until our APs expire and I was sure we wouldn't be renewing to enroll in YES classes.

Yes sorry I just presumed that poster who originally asked this question was staying at an onsite Disney owned or participating EMH resort. Apologies for not being clearer - definitely must be staying onsite at Disney owned or one of the participating resorts which last I heard is Swan, Dolphin or Hilton at Downtown Disney to do EMH with YES ticket. A valid resort ID would be needed during Extra Magic Hours. During evening EMH we were asked when entering nearly every ride / attractions to show our resort id's.

My DS13 is doing the Animation Magic at HS on 7/27. The class starts at 7:45am. Can all 4 of us (DH, me and DD, get into the park at that time to drop him off), or is only one of us going to be able to get in? None of us are doing the class with him, but I certainly want one of us making sure he gets to the class. How does this work when the parent isn't going in the class with him. It would be easier if we could all get to the park together and sit down on a bench till park opening at 9:00am. Are they only going to let 1 of us in?

We bought the 8 day park hopper with the water parks. I'm assuming you have to start in a theme park or can you do a water park first. We are arriving in Orlando on either Friday 7/15 or Saturday 7/16, but are not doing our first theme park day until 7/21. Could we possibly do a waterpark on 7/16 when we arrive?

idk if all will be allowed in prior to park opening, it's possible but I don't know if anyone could tell you for certain - maybe someone will post their experience when their child's class took place prior to park opening time. I would say that one adult definitely will be allowed in because YES site states that kids 13yr and older attending class on their own must have a parent sign them in and that adult must stay at that park while the class is in progress. If you make an adr at Hollywood & Vine for breakfast around class time you'd all be allowed in before 9am.

You can use YES tickets however you like, there isn't a sequence to how the options of the ticket must be used so it is not necessary to start off on day 1 in a theme park.

Has anyone waited longer than 2 weeks for a ticket to arrive?

I ordered an add on ticket on April 22 and today I called to see since I have not received it yet and they said that it will be mailed out next Friday May 13 so I will get it 2 business days later.

I received my original order in less than 2 weeks but than decided to add a ticket and this is what they told me. I checked my CC and the extra $$ for the extra ticket I ordered was deducted on April 23.

That is over 3 weeks. I am a little worried since we leave end of May and hopefully I will get it on time.

I thought I understood all of this, but I am having trouble getting it through. There are 4 of us total. My ds17 is going to do a class, and I thought that I could get tickets for our family, (myself, dh, & dd), but when I go to do that it states that there can't be more adults than kids, so it will only let me get tickets for one person other than my ds.
I thought I could get tickets for us all?

You cannot get more adult tickets than the number of student participants. We have a party of 5- me, DH, grandma, DD16 and DD12. Both kids are participating, so we were able to buy addl tickets for me and DH, but we will have to get grandma's ticket another way. I called and verified this with the YES representative.

You used to be able to get tickets for the whole family, but they changed that. I am glad I got in before the change, as we have three kids and 5 adults. After this year, it will just be me and DS again. He will be 17 next trip, so he can still participate.

She was back and forth on going to the class because she is 18, even though the class is up to that age. It looks like they are both going to do it, especially since they would be in the same class together. My dh is looking forward to it too, he thinks it sounds fun.

The person who posted the question was asking about DisneyLAND, and EMH (Magical Mornings) work differently there - it is based on the type of ticket you purchase, not where you stay. Hence the question about whether or not YES tickets qualify.

I have no idea what the answer to that question is, but I'd appreciate it if whoever does find an answer would post it!

AAAhhhhhhh!!!! I procrastinated a few days and the October 17th class is full!!!!!

This is the only date/class that would have worked with our school Fall Break and I JUST told DD9 about the YES program class and that she and I could go for a short mother/daughter trip and she is SO excited...I just got online to book it all AND IT'S FULL!!!!

I am sad and a bit sick to my stomache...she is at the end of her 3rd grade year and starts 4th in the fall and I can't help but think *what if she outgrows this idea* and doesn't want to do it the next year when she is in 5th? I can't bump a YES trip up to this summer because of other committments...do people ever cancel and YES opens up a couple spots? Should I call to ask? Maybe a cancellation list they can put us on?

I called the number that's on the Yes website. A lady answered (don't remember her name,) but she tried walking me through it twice and it still didn't work. She then transferred me to a guy named Jerrod, and he's the one that told me how to do it and make it work.

As far as being charged after they review it...my card was charged immediately, so I can't imagine they were able to review it that quickly. I still haven't heard anything back from the number at the bottom of my confirmation page in regards to getting the tickets shipped/if our order is okay even though we only have 2 kids attending the class, but have ordered and paid for 6 tickets. We'll see what happens.

I'm seeing that all are open...maybe that was another glitch?

Also was able to get through and see that you can register two parents with one child...also appears that both parents of an only child can attend the program as well. "You may not have more adults attending a program than students, except for the case of two parents with an only child."

There have been glitches with the new system. However, several have posted that they talked with someone named Jerrod that was able to help them register more adults than children. I would try to call on Monday. Pixie dust

I wouldn't worry too much about not wanting to do a YES class later. I signed up my 14-year-old for the Physics YES class at Disneyland, and the class was cancelled due to low enrollment. That was 3 months ago and I still haven't heard the end of it.

Yes, you get 5 visits to those and then 5 days of parkhopping. You can go to a water park or DQ on the same day as a regular park and also go to more than one of the waterparks or DQ on the same day. Each visit uses one of those "pluses" though; it doesn't work like a hopper.

it means you have 5 parks days and can hope between the parks (MK Epcot AK and DHS) PLUS you have 5 entrances into the extra places (bliz beach, Dis quest etc).
So you can take this 5 day premium ticket and get 10 days of fun.
Say you do a MK park on day 1 maybe even hop from MK to Epcot then day 2 go to Disney Quest you will have used 1 park day and one premium entrance.

Now if you went to MK in the morning and Disney quest that night you will have used 1 park day and one premium entrance in the same day.
