Disney YES Program Open to non-groups

You know, it never occured to me that there might be some flexibility in the ages. I just assumed that the ages were firm just like the ages for child vs adult park tickets and child vs adult pricing at restaurants. My youngest will be less than a month after her 11th birthday (we're listing it as our celebration this trip) and our oldest will be 13 but she's autistic so she tends to be immature. I'll call and talk to them about the currently enrolled ages of the kids in the class to find out what they'd recommend.

Sure glad to help And I'm sure you will find CMs at YES will work it out with you. Also, when we registered we had my niece coming along so my sister was able to attend with her and I attended with my daughter so you can probably also have a 2nd adult with 2 kids attending (unless something has changed on that since summer).

I see sept and october dates are now up. there is a big gap betwwen sept 23 and oct 10th with no classes. did ashley say some more would be filled in? we aarive sept 23

Yep they are up but they wont let me purchase... I guess PP was right. I wonder how long it will take for it to be ready.

WOW! That is funny. She said that she had not heard anything about them being up tomorrow. I told her that when I called a couple weeks ago that I was told if all went as planned they would be up March 11 but definitely by the end of the month. She said that they were still finalizing dates and they would not be up tomorrow but should be up by the end of the month. SO a lot must have happened after that phone call!

Thanks for sharing that they are posted. Now let us watch for when we can actually register.

Just an FYI I spoke with Ashley this morning. She called to clarify something on my order. She processed us for the Aug 23rd Wild by Nature class and told me it is now closed due to capacity being reached. So those that were booked for this class it is a go!

Oh no! This was the class our kids were interested in and the date we wanted, looks like I'd better book for the Properties of Motion on Aug 22 and give a call tomorrow to see if they can put us on a waiting list/standby for the Wild By Nature.

:-( I just got off the phone with Ashley. She said the dates would not be up tomorrow. They hope to have them up by the end of the month. They are still finalizing the dates. UGH! We should set up shifts for checking the website so we are not all checking five times a day

So what happens if you get the tickets but then can't go to the program? I'm just curious because my two boys 8 and 6 want to attend one but I have two smaller children coming with us too who can be quite unpredictable, which may hinder us from attending the session.

So there's a group for my 8 yr old at the end of sept but not one for my 6 yr old, what do I do then? The group starts at 7 yrs old. He'd love to attend one but there's a big gap between the 23rd and oct 10th, are they gonna change that?

so now I am stressed i spoke to her last week and she told me there was heaps of room in that class and we need to book 2 classes as we don't live in the USA I have just booked my 4 children in to the 22nd of August and am praying she will still let us attend I should say 3 in 1 class and 1 in the other because of their ages.
I wish there was a homeschool class on when we are there our kids would love to do a homeschool class with some American kids but there are none listed.

No pixie dust rules are rules but we are rearranging a few days of our holiday to be able to attend the 29th as well! My kids are really excited about doing these classes.

I'm disappointed with that too. I sent an email letting them know that we would love to have the opportunity to attend a class at the beginning of October. We'll see if I get a response.
