I've seen posts about October classes that will be announced soon, will they be Individual, Group, Homeschool or all of the above?

I'm the one that posted it on the previous page. I would assume that it's individual enrollment because that is what I did. We were there last week and participated in the Synergy in Science class. It was alot of fun and interesting even for the adults.

Perfect! That's what I need to know. Now, if there's our two girls and myself and DH, can we both attend the class or just one? I'm watching and waiting less than patiently for class updates:)

Thanks for all the info. I got our tickets ordered today. Ordered 3-7 day premium and 4-5 day premium. We saved $1024, unbelievable! But even mire exciting than the savings is the class itself. My son and I are so excited to do a non-mainstream Disney activity.

Where are people finding the 7 day passes? When I look under ind. enrollment and click on ticket packages I just see up to 5 days.

We signed up DD8 for July - which works perfectly because I have a conference and will be busy for 3-4 days while we are there. DH can take DD to the program and then when the conference is over we can go to WDW, on the cheap! WOOT!

Now, I just have to wait to make sure the minimum number fills up. I haven't found anything that say we won't get our tickets though. We're doing the Will Call. The credit card charge has already gone through. Thoughts?

When you go through the sign up process you will get to a page that has ticket options and the 7 day tickets are there.

Is anybody nervous about purchasing these tickets so far ahead, in the event something happens that you can't go, since the tickets are non-refundable?

Yes, that's just how I feel, McKelly! We have our dates and DVC reservations for August 2011 (booked 11 months ahead in Sept 2010) but I'm very nervous about ordering the non-refundable tickets and trying to figure out a balance--how close to the time I can order them without being too nervous about being closed out of the classes.

Officially, only one parent is supposed to attend. We didn't have any where both parents attended our class. BUT of the ones I know about two were with other kids in other classes at the same time. And my DH was with our DD who is only 13 months old--she would have been the distraction. We were hoping she'd sleep later and then they'd meet us at EPCOT. Instead they got there about an hour after we did and wondered around with people oohing & ahhing over her.

I don't think it would have been an issue though. I've seen where some other people have said that both parents were able to go.

Ok, after changing my plans 3 times my son has finally given me a positive date he can go to WDW.
I will be there in early July and want to sign my grandson up for the "movement" class on July 11.
I read some of this topic and saw that they were trying to stop small groups. Are they still stopping them? Therre will be just him and his father but I would be willing to pay for myself to attend too if they would allow it.
Also, I am going to WDW the week before with a friend, and my son and GS will be visiting my ex in Naples, then the 2nd week I will be with my son.
I have an AP but need ticket for my friend the week before and my son and grandson the week of the class. Can I get tickets for both? I had read they were good for 7 days before and 7 days after the class.
I have 2 weeks booked at my DVC so I won't be needing a resort.

When you read about Disney requiring groups to show proof they are a group that is for people doing "group" enrollments at times that Disney does not offer "individual" enrollment. It has been said that it was because many times there are a lot of absent people from classes scheduled by random groups created for the purpose to getting YES tickets. Those classes are schedule specifically for that group.

However, Individual enrollment is for whatever "group" size. (Since these classes are scheduled for "individual" enrollments they can- fill up and no longer have space available or be cancelled for lack of enrollment. If the later happens they will try to find another class for you but your park tickets are still good even if they can not.)

As long as one child is taking a class you can get as many (or as few) other tickets as you need. They will ask for arrival date and departure date. Just put the date your friend is coming as the arrival date and the date your son and grandson are leaving as the departure date. The tickets will be good 7 dates before that arrival date and 7 days after that departure date.

I hope your grandson loves the class!

So, once they charge you for your tickets, you are registered, right? I know they can still cancel the class, but from what I have heard, your tickets are good even if there aren't enough to do the class. Anyone else signing up for the 8/15 class Ocean Discoveries? We have 3 in there.

I'm going for 11 days in July (10-20) and put July 1 - 31 as my dates. My tickets are good from 6/4-8/11!:yay:

Ok folks, I haven't read through all the pages, but I did see mention of some additional classes coming for Oct, does anyone know if they will be adding any for early Sept at all?? Originally I was supposed to leave for WDW around the 26th of Aug but now we aren't leaving until the 29th and will therefore miss the class on the 29th and that is the last one they are offering in Aug.
TIA if anyone knows!

for those of you that have already received the yes tickets, does disney put names of the guest on the tickets? ?finger scans at the parks. how do one keep track of which tickets belong to whom without names on them?

They don't have names on them, but you could write them on the ticket if you like. I don't think we used the finger scan once when we were there with YES tickets last summer. They would take our tickets and motion us through.

I'd love to hear about How Things Move as well! 3 of my kiddos will be doing that class in July. :goodvibes

We just attended the class on 2/14 how things move. our guide was very enthusiastic she did a nice job. we met at 815 at the magic kingdom and were able to enter the park around 830 which was nice since it didnt open until 900. they talked about how the rides work and used examples with pictures and some models and toys . we then rode dumbo right at 9am when the park opened and talked about how the ride worked also rode winnie the pooh and small world. they also had the kids design there own ride by drawing with markers on paper. my daughter liked the rides but did get a little bored when they were talking about how they worked. it was a nice program and the discounted tickets were great.

Hi Everyone. I'm a first time poster but a long time lurker on this site. I am planning our first ever trip to DisneyWorld. Yay!! I have a couple of questions about the YES program. We are planning a June 2012 trip as part of our church youth group. On the Disney Youth site it says the program is available for ages 3-18. I think the only program for the younger kids would be the Ranch program. We will have kids of various ages from 3-9. So the big question I have is if you go as part of a group do all the kids have to participate in the same program or can we break them into more age appropriate classes?? Also are the group classes separate from the individual enrollment classes? And can kids as young as 3 participate. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me!
