Update: I actually called and spoke to Julie, who is one of the Y.E.S. coordinators. She's VERY nice and was extremely accommodating of all my various questions.
We hadn't planned on paying for our tickets until at least mid-May, which is fine according to Julie except that we might miss out on a program we really want. We're going that first week of open enrollment (starts on June 14). From what I can tell, programs are 3 hours long or so. We've got six kids ranging in ages from six to 16, so it's quite a stretch for us to plan this, as I think all of our kids would enjoy the offerings that week. I don't however, want to go through the hassle of trying to plan three or four different Y.E.S. class sessions to accommodate everyone.
Julie told me that I could bring everyone, including our rising first-grader and our 10th grader, to the "Disney's Wild by Nature" program. We'll have six adults to go with the six kids, so this should be fun. I just hope A) enough people enroll so we don't lose out on this program and B) it doesn't fill so fast that we can't enroll!
Now, here's my next question: I already purchased 3 tickets from Undercover Tourist. DMIL and DBIL purchased tickets from
UT as well. All of us are on a budget; is it worth it for us to return all these tix and then repurchase from Y.E.S.? Anyone want to share thoughts on whether it's too much of a hassle? FYI: we bought base MYW tix with no options. Purchasing through Y.E.S., we could instead get hoppers and water parks for less than we paid for the UT tix. I'm leaning towards doing this but I dunno if I can convince the rest of the crew.
