Shot in the dark, but is anyone taking the properties of Motion class on 2/26?
PM me, thanks

gerberdaisy, I should have known you had it covered. I will send a note, too. I'm sure the poor girl deserves combat pay after dealing with this! I really want them to do it again next year when the whole crew goes again!

:flower3:Thanks:flower3:

We are here now. Had a great day at Magic Kingdom and headed to Epcot tomorrow. More later.

HI Julia! It was so nice to meet you at the class! And thanks for sharing about the wedding you attended. I was telling my sister about it and we were both in fantasyland heaven wishing it had been ours. Hope you didn't freeze too much in FL. We ended up getting some warmer weather at the end of the week but I think you were gone by then.

Jennie

Hi I recognized your kids from your signature. My girls (DD8 and neice 9) did the class too. They thought it was ok. Not really anything too exciting. It was freezing for sure.

Really for others going it is just walking around the park with an animal guide who points out different things and habits of the animals that you are looking at. I was kind of disappointed that we only went on one ride as part of the class. And it was just the regular safari ride. Our guides didn't talk or do anything special but ride with us. But the class took up almost 3 hours and we weren't able to get fastpasses for Everest. Which I guess didn't matter because it was down when we got over there after anyway. But it would be nice if they would give you fastpasses for after. Also the hankerchief, they called it a buff, was a nice idea but I think it could've been something a little better. Not sure what the kids will ever do with it.

My husband and I wouldn't rush back to do it again. The tickets were an amazing savings. Maybe some of the other classes would be a bit more exciting. Still worth it for everyone going. Have fun!

My kids told me they were the only ones there wihtout and adult with them. EE did open up later that day. Was really cold on the fingers ....

jealous. we leave tomorrow, hit Epcot on sunday! have a beautiful day!

You will be here before you know it! We arrived Tueday afternoon. We left able to see our breathe and arrive to walking around in short sleeves. Come join us in the warmth.

We are doing Animal Kingdom Sunday so that will be four less people in line at Epcot:rotfl2:

My niece just started the College Program last week. She is at Animal Kingdom.

See you around the parks

We will be there tomorrow! We are planning to do Magic Kingdom on Sunday.

Our YES program is at Epcot on Monday, and DD has a Pirate Adventure cruise on Tuesday. I was thinking Animal Kingdom for Saturday, but if it really is in the upper 70's as the forecast says right now, well, we'll probably hit Typhoon Lagoon on Saturday. I hate to have a water park as our first park of the trip, lol, but I will take advantage of the warm days when we get them. :goodvibes

Maybe we will go to the Epcot evening EMH tomorrow night, I don't know yet. I hear they are pretty crowded, but if we don't do that then we won't be at a major park until Sunday. I don't think I can be there two days without hitting a park. :rotfl:

Great news for people visiting WDW this summer.

I just got an e-mail from Sarah-they are going to have open enrollment again in June and July!

I hope it's for my dates....I honestly may change them if I need to in order to attend.

"Thank you for your interest. We are going to have Open Enrollment dates in June and July. I have not received final confirmation on what those dates are for sure. The information should be on our website as soon as the dates are confirmed. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
Sarah"

I am interested in going in June or July. Any word yet from Disney when they are going to announce the dates?

I would imagine that they will wait until the end of next week. I think there are still classes for January that have taken place. So they might want them on the info page until they are done.

We just got home. My kids did the Properties of Motion class this morning and really enjoyed it! I hope they do open enrollment in June or July, we may go again.

We will be at AK first thing tomorrow! Looking forward to meeting those of you that will be in the class with us!! :thumbsup2

Yes, they were the only ones without an adult. Not sure how you managed that. I asked if ds could do it without me and was told no.

Julia

Hi all. Just back from a wonderful 10 day trip.
DD Emilee and her father went to Wild by Nature on the 18th. They thought it was ok.

Emilee and I went to The American Story on the 19th and had a really good time. Ralph was great and we learned a lot of things. We even got to go onstage at the Hall of President prior to the show's start. Everyone seemed to loved using the Fastpass line on Thunder Mountain and the Haunted Manison. Splash Mountain was closed during our trip.

we went down for my DS's soccer tournament at Wide World of Sports. Will hopefully be down same week next year and hope they offer these classes again.

Wish I could go this summer but don't see that one happening.
Everyone enjoy their trips.

Can you tell us about this class? What were the ages there?

I think that was me you quoted ??? but when I booked it, I asked about adults and they said that only 2 adults were allowed per class and I figured I'd leave that spot open for someone who's kid really needed their parent there. I changed quite a bit from when I booked to what it turned into. Different info and different ticket options too.

Can you tell us about this class? What were the ages there?

they are 10 & 12, they talked about gravity, potential and konetic energy. they did space mountain (was suppose to be lights on experience but they were having technical difficulties) big thunder mountain and buzz light year. They did an experiment before SM and talked about different things before each ride.

We are back from our trip!! We did Synergy in Science on Tuesday at Epcot at 12:45. Not sure if anyone else from here was there? It was okay, a tad boring. I did explain to our leader that DS has PDD prior to the start, and she was very patient with him and at the end said he did a great job and she was very happy he answered a few questions. We rode Figment, saw Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Spaceship Earth. I would do it again though with a different class.

Wow, this sounds really cool! I was planning for an August trip, but if this opens up for June, I may have to move my dates up. :thumbsup2
