No, not to my understanding.
My sis did Open in Jan & her, BIL, SIL, MIL, DIL, DN1, DN2 were all able to get discounted tickets on my nieces enrollment in one AK course.

Read through this thread or call YES.

Oh, I DID the open enrollment already. It was just me and DS, so I just wasn't sure of that one thing.

Any more info about Aug/Sept/Oct open enrollment? I'm surrounded by kids today so cannot make a phone call and the website hasn't been updated. Thanks :)

I do not have info, but you can also email them on the site using "contact us" if you don't have access to a phone. The website always seems to have the information a bit after these announcements have been made; it was the same way with the June programs. I found out about them on the phone and they weren't on the site for another week.

I called yesterday and they expect open enrollment information for August and September to be on the website by Friday. There are 3 programs available during our timeframe: 8/24 Wild by Nature at AK Grades 2-9; 8/31 Production Arts at DHS Grades 6-10; and 9/4 Ocean Discoveries at Epcot, Grades 2-9.

Did they happen to say anything about October or when that would be announced? I really hope they do open enrollment in Oct!

I called a few minutes ago to ask about open enrollment for August since we will be at WDW then; CM told me that Aug/Sept/Oct have not been "officially finalized as of this time but schedule should be set within week or two so that is all the information we can provide you as of right now", and he asked if I would like to give my email address so they can send that info out to me when it is complete. So I did and hopefully will receive something soon. You may want to give a call too so you can get an email as well.

I called using the phone number in your earlier post, thank you for that information :goodvibes and Many Many Thanks to all who have posted here on this thread sharing this information on Y.E.S. and open enrollment; our youngest DD13 was very interested when I showed her the programs offered on July schedule but our trip is planned for August so we didn't think she'd have the opportunity this year, hopefully she can now do some during August :cheer2:

For what it's worth, yesterday we attended the Oceans program which was really good.

We attended the Ocean Discoveries program on July 12 and LOVED it! Our class consisted of my family (DH, me, DS10 and DD9), 6 other kids and 7 adults. Our instructor, Vim, was engaging and fun. The class ran for the full 3 hours, and we were asked to provide an evaluation at the end of the class.

Prior to the class, I was unsure of whether we'd enjoy ourselves based on the varied reviews of the YES programs I've read on the DIS. I have to say that I was really pleased with the whole experience! Initially, my kids were excited to have the chance to attend the class...but I think a good deal of that excitement stemmed from their perception that they might get a behind-the-scenes look at Disney. Their post-program assessment of the experience went way beyond the behind-the-scenes opportunity though! They were truly interested in the concepts of the program and in learning about the different species of fish and sea life we discussed.

If we have the chance, we will ABSOLUTELY sign up for another program!

Once again, thanks SO VERY MUCH to the OP for posting the information about the YES program!

Anybody have further information for 8/14-8/21 open enrollment. Hoping for multiple classes.
This is such a wonderful opportunity. Thank you OP.

No problem! That's odd, the schedule is complete, it's just not uploaded to the site yet. Hm... do you remember who you spoke with? If you call today between 1PM and 5:30PM you should be able to speak with the program coordinator Heidi and she has a completed schedule. Make sure to hit option #3.

Now I'm wondering, maybe I didn't hit option 3 so could been speaking with a CM who was not directly involved with program ?

I don't recall CM's name, he was extremely nice & trying to be helpful (with offering to send schedule via email etc) but specifically said Aug/Sept/Oct had not been finalized. I will call again in morning to see if I can speak with Heidi and post back how that goes. Thanks again :goodvibes

I sent an email via the website requesting the August dates and received a schedule via email. Unfortunately there is only one class for the week we are there 8/14-8/21. I did email asking if they would add more, esp one for Highschoolers. Waiting to hear back.

Wondering, can I sign up via open enrollment for one class, then join a group for other classes?

Am I going to the wrong page? On open enrollment all I see are June & July dates and Homeschool days has a week in Sept.

The new dates are added! I just signed ds up for the dynamics of technology class for the beginning of August. The total costs for four seven day park hopper + water parks was $760.94! That is a savings of over $600! Wow! What a great opportunity to take a class at disney and have such a savings! :cheer2:
