Disney Y.E.S. Program

I received an email today with our program confirmation for next week. I am so excited! Leaving Friday and will attend Properites of Motion on Tuesday.

How were you able to register for the September or October classes? I clicked on the link that people are (sooo awesomely, by the way!) posting but it only goes through June...I am freaking out thinking I may miss out on the class we want/need since I have been checking their site obsessively the past few weeks! :)
Thanks for any help!

Click to register. The first thing it asks is your travel dates. Once you put that in, it narrows the classes down to your travel window. Go from there.

Thank you for responding to me! Another very kind soul wrote that as well and I have us signed up! I can't believe how real our trip has become in a matter of minutes now!

June 26

DS and DH (the boys) will be attending Synergy in Science

DD, myself, BFF and her 2 DD's (the girls) will be attending Wild by Nature

Anyone else signing up for the 6/22 Animation Magic class (12-17 y.o.)?

What would I do without the Disboards? I've been checking the YES sight daily to see if registration was open. It wasn't until I saw that many of you were registering that I even tried. Thanks Dis friends!!!

Got both of my kids in classes for 6/12/12!:thumbsup2

Doing the happy dance!

I got all 3 kids into classes on the same day at the same time in the same park. AND I saved a good $600 in the bargain!

Me too.

Very glad I saw this thread yesterday morning. I was worried because even though we'll be there for two weeks there was only one class that my youngest met the age requirement for.

Anyone else doing classes on August 20th?

I'm sorry if it's been asked, but I didn't see it. I have an AP, but DD does not. I will be taking DD and her BFF in Sept and they want to take one of the classes.

It looks like I can't buy tickets just for them, is that right? The discounted price to buy 7 day hoppers looks to be a little cheaper than 2 full price 7 day hoppers, but I don't know if I want to do that. :confused3

Can we take the class, without buying the tickets? (for the $28 price?)

TIA!

No.

I asked about this in Dec and was told that you must buy a ticket package to take the class. In other years they did allow AP holders to just pay the $28 or so fee for the class, but they are no longer offering it. You could always call and ask since you would be purchasing the YES tickets for the two girls, but not for yourself.

I just signed my 7 year old son up for Synergy in Science June 12. I'm so excited to surprise him. He loves science. I see from the other responses he may be surround by all girls. Wonder if any boys will register. Just curious.

Does anyone know if when paying for these programs and tickets of if it shows up on the Disney Visa as a qualified Disney location? I just signed up for premier visa and won't have extra points live for a few days. I would wait to purchase if I would get the extra rewards. Those of you who already purchased did it come up on your ccard as a Disney venue or 3rd party? Thanks!

This is the first time that I have thought about this program and had a couple questions. Does the parent chaperone actually participate in the class or just sit and watch? Also, if we are getting a 2day ticket since we are getting the dining plan, would the tickets from the yes program then kick in after those 2 days are up? Also, what are people thoughts about the Epcot seas programs?

Did they offer classes in November last year specifically around Thanksgiving?

From what I've read they did not offer them this past Nov. but did the year prior. We are planning to visit the week before t'giving and I was praying for classes but sadly there are none past Oct. 31 :guilty:

So grateful for this board! I signed up my 8 & 9 year old boys for Synergy in Science on 6/13. Got 8-day premium tix for 5 of us (DH, me, 2 boys, DD5, no ticket for baby) & saved almost $800!! The boys are excited about the class, and I'm thrilled to be getting better tickets than we would otherwise buy. We've never done the water parks or Disney Quest, so this will be really fun. Thanks for all the info!

I saw this post yesterday and was so disappointed/worried. We are saving up for our trip and paying as we go along, and I hadn't saved up enough for tickets yet (we've already paid for the room and airfare). I was worried that we might miss out on our YES dates.

This morning, DH called to let me know that his bonus had been deposited and to go ahead and sign DS up and get the tix! (we'll reimburse his bonus though!)

Instead of getting 6 day base tickets, we got 6 day Park Hoppers w/ WPF&M, and should almost have enough left over for MNSSHP tix! :cool1:

World of Physics (the older age group)

We are! We are!

Actually, my family is traveling with two other families. My girlfriend and her 5 year old little girl will be in the How Things Move Class. My 16 year old and his 14 year old cousin will be in the World of Physics class together, and then my 9 year old and my husband and my friends 8 year old and his Dad will be in the World of Physics for the younger group. I think I will be babysitting the 4 year old! I figure that between all of us we saved about $1500 on tickets. So incredibly happy!

We are going in 4 days and are doing YES and free dining. I am using the YES tickets this trip and will save our 2 day tickets from our package for a future trip or sell them. There isn't much of a savings if you pay for the 2 day and the YES for the same trip. You can always add days to your 2 day tickets down the road as long as you don't use them this trip.
