Disney Wristbands?

Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what are the wristbands I always see used for? Do they mail them to you? Are they used for dining? Rides? Purchases? I've never used one before and was just curious. Thanks!

In short, yes.

Someone can probably post a link to the Magic Bands thread. But I believe its a yes answer to each question you asked, except the first for which the answer is.....they're called Magic Bands, basically a replacement for the plastic ticket cards that use RFID tech to do a LOT more.
