Disney World with Girl Scouts?

My mom was the leader for both my sister and my junior troops. She did this with both troops. (We're 5 years apart in age) We started fundraising at the beginning of the year. I'm sure the parents had to pay something. We drove from Virginia. We stopped in Savannah to see the Juliette Lowe house. That was really neat. We camped at Ft. Wilderness to help with expenses, but we had so much fun. We were able to fund raise all of the needed monies in the year and do the trip in the summer time. I don't think it will take you 6 years unless you're planning to stay in a deluxe resort. Good luck!

I am a Brownie leader for my daughter's troop. The girls have decided to save their cookie money for the next 6 years for a trip to Disney! they want to do one of the youth education programs. We will travel from PA so I would like to make this a 7 day stay Disney. Has anyone ever done this? I am really trying to push selling more cookies and doing better with the fall funderaiser since GS is limited with fundraising. Thanks for any tips!

Just wondering how your Disney trip planning is going!? I am totally for you planning a trip and working toward a goal. I think your idea of saving over time is great, however have you priced the yes program recently cuz the prices are really good. You might be able to go sooner! Have you thought about doing a golf tournament or Applebee's breakfast fundraiser.
