I just joined recently, however I do have a question since I'm disabled are there any tours for people that have mobility impairments in terms of walking issues at Disney World?

Welcome to the DISboards! :welcome:

I believe at least some of the tours are accessible. Are you in a wheelchair or using an ECV, or other mobility device? Did you have any specific tour(s) in mind that interests you? People might be more likely to respond regarding a specific tour experience if you have something in mind.

Enjoy your vacation!

I was on the Keys to the Kingdom Tour a number of years ago with two people in wheelchairs. It went very well. They were able to do everything. There is an elevator in Coumbia Harbour House that they used since you have lunch upstairs. I talked to both of the people (we were not with them just meet them on the tour) and they had a great time. I have also done the Backstage Magic and loved it. I can't speak for this tour, but I would think that it would be ok. Disney does a great job. Also I will add that I have done Keys more recently with fibromyalgia. There were places along the way that I was able to sit. I too have trouble at times standing and walking too much. Have fun if and when you do a tour!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

At AK, the Wild Africa Trek indicates "must be ambulatory" and appears to be somewhat strenuous as physical activity. However they do apparently offer a wheelchair accessible alternative trek by calling. This is from the website:
Guests seeking a less strenuous or wheelchair-accessible trek should contact Wild Africa Trek operations at 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687) for alternative programs.

I believe I recall a thread about the alternative trek, I'll see if I can find it.

Enjoy your vacation!

When I was on the Backstage Safari several years ago, we had a woman with an ECV, and there was an accessible van if driving was necessary. I didn't get to talk with her, but from my view, it appeared she was equally included in the entire tour.

I know that the Behind the Seeds tour at the Land pavilion in EPCOT is WC/ECV accessible.
