Disney World Property Control

Has anyone ever gone into this building? What do you think? Do you have to be a CM to get in ?

A CM and I think vendors can get in.

Only CMs. I can't remember if Cast Connection or Property Control is the one that also (at least at one point) allowed Guests to go with Cast Members.

Vendors are usually only allowed during the big auctions and not on a day to day basis.

When I was a CM I often went to Property Control to get cheap silver ware and dishes. I also have a friend who got one of the pull down couches beds for her apartment so when she had guests they had an actual bed instead of just a couch. If you can get in, it is a great place to pick up odds and ends for pretty cheap. Most stuff is very high traffic use items though so you have to really look to make sure what you are getting is still worth the price you are paying.

I've gone in with a friend who is a Disney Store cm. Even then, there are parts that only the cm can go in, like the old stuff from hotels.

A CM can bring in their guests, they can also bring them into where they sell furniture items from resorts. The only place the guest cannot go into is the backroom that's 70 or 75% off. Only the CM is allowed back there. Back before they moved to current location, this was the trailer where they also sold old strollers in front of.

We went a couple of years ago with a CM friend. Mostly the same stuff that is sold at the outlets except there was furniture as well. We looked at chairs from the GF and BW. There was also stuff that I didn't expect like fruit and refrigerated foods. The prices on the apparel were the same as the outlet except you got another 10 percent off of your total bill. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go again but it was fun to go that one time. They also had vehicles for sale out front. Some of the vehicles were pretty beat up! I assumed they were construction or landscaping trucks. If you Google Disney World Property Control, a few pictures of the inside pop up under images. You can see what it looks like.

Went all the time when my husband was a cm. I miss those visits.
