I brought it on the plane, to the parks, basically everywhere...my favorite part of the book was the pullout color maps of each park. On top of each map, I wrote down each park's hours on the days we'd be there and I checked off each attraction that was open during early entry.(at least until I memorized them!). I also tucked the maps the parks give you and the daily guide that gives show times into the passporter too.
It's funny. About two weeks before I left on my trip, I was at the mall bookstore with my daughter and a woman was looking at the Disney travel books including the Passporter. I mentioned how I had purchased it and was very impressed with it. Later on I saw her at the register with the book.
I also recommend the Unofficial Guide as a companion to the Passporter. I got good ideas for restaurants from the UG and the touring plans are worth the money you pay for the book.
And the authors of it, Jennifer and Dave, are couple of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. Super nice. Here is a picture of them at their recent wedding from their May newsletter.
