Help! We have been to disney many of times, but this is the first time with my one year old. We know the basics, but any tips or must have items? We are going the second week of May 2014 and this is her first into to disney! Thanks!

Pack each outfit into a ziplock style bag and place a stain wipe in it. Then when the little one gets dirty or you need to change outfits, you can treat the stains and have a complete outfit ready. Then toss the dirty one in the Baggie . Also makes it easy to get ready to leave for day because you are not searching for those little socks!!

Oh wow! What an amazing tip! That would so keep everything together!! Thank you so much! If you have anymore tips, keep them coming! Plueeze!!!! Lol

Each park has a baby station, an amazing place for moms and little ones to relax, change, feedings, bottle warmers, and get anything that was forgotten, super clean too. The baggies with outfits a must.
Also for the stroller, if it rains, use ponchos to cover the stroller, or other plastic covering when you go onto rides. Nothing worse then getting out of a ride or show and finding stroller all wet. Also put something ( ribbon, bow, luggage tag) on your stroller. CM may move the stroller around in stroller parking. Makes it easier to find yours. Oh, never leave anything in the stroller you don't want lost or walking away, even umbrella. ;)
Take one bag with necessities, the diaper bag is great for holding that and camera, wallet etc... Going through security check with several bags is way too time consuming.
I also dressed DS in onesies that were like a little cute cotton shorts outfit onesie, Carters has them. They are easy on/off and easy to pack 2 or 3 in diaper bag.
Best thing was what somebody told me, don't stress, stick to baby's schedule not yours and things should go smoothly. Keep in mind that strollers have to be closed up on busses and most boats, so baby has to be out of it. Strollers can be left open with child inside on monorails.
Enjoy and special magic always happen for the little ones:thumbsup2

Two more little tips. Bubbles, yep, bubbles. The little ones need their own distractions from waiting on lines etc.. So for my DS until he was 3 was bubbles. You can buy a bubble gun at the parks but I always opted for the cheeper bottles with the little wand inside and blow bubbles. I brought one bottle for each day and just tossed them at end of the day.
And the other is schedule a hair cut, a first hair cut at the barber shop in MK. Have to schedule at least a day in advance, you get a certificate and lock of baby's hair in a nice bag with pixie dust.

penguinkimberly, I agree 100% on the baggies.. I do that as well for myself, not for the parks, but for my morning routine at the resort, sometimes I do take an extra pair of socks with me, but, the baggie idea is the greatest ..

Don't leave food unattended on the stroller, unless it is in a well-sealed container that doesn't look like food. There are very talented and smart birds and squirrels. We have seen birds systematically going from stroller to stroller, checking each one for treats. And plastic baggies do not count as well-sealed. They laugh at plastic bags. :lmao:
