Disney World offering Reduced Room Rates to Canadians

(The Canadian Press ) The Walt Disney World Resort in Florida is offering special ticket packages for Canadians visiting between Aug. 29 and Sept. 29.

Canadians can book rooms starting at $55 US per night at hotels including the new Disney's Pop Century Resort. That's a saving of $22 per room per night, according to a news release.


Reservations must be made between Aug. 5 and 28.


The benefits include exclusive early entry to selected Disney World theme parks and attractions with paid admission, and unlimited complimentary transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort.


Canadians can also buy "park hopper" tickets before heading to Florida and save up to $25 per ticket. Disney's five- and seven-day park hopper tickets offer unlimited admission to all four Walt Disney World theme parks. With "park hopper plus" tickets, you also get two visits to other attractions - the choice includes water parks, Downtown Disney Pleasure Island and Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.
