disney world in may

We will be there in May also. How is the weather at night. Is it cooler where we would need our sweatshirts? I cannot wait for the hours to come out so I can plan our P.S's

We have gone in May twice so far and have never needed a sweatshirt. It has been very warm in the evening. Only if AC is up high in a restaurant did we wish we had a sweater or something.

BeadyLady...Last year we rented a Pal Mickey for our 6yo DD and she loved it in the beginning. She did get tired of holding it so I took over. We thought he was cute, but we really didn't get alot of information from him. We probably are not going to rent another one this year, being we've already experienced him already, but if you have never rented one before, I would say do it. People are different. One person may really get a kick out of him, where other's don't!! Who knows, when we get there, my DD may say, "Can we rent Pal Mickey again?". If so, I'll more than likely say, "Sure".

Thank you for the info, as it's only DH and myself, I'll have to think about this, who would hold Mickey if I didn't? and I've got to take pictures! :smiles:

We're going the 22-31st of May. Hopefully, the schools aren't all out and the attendence doesn't pick up until closer to the holiday weekend.

May is a great month to go to WDW. This will be our 4th time going in May. I will admit the last week of May gets more crowded, but any other week during May is wonderful.
BTW...I'm a SC native, Winthrop grad, Clemson fan and now a Nashville resident and VOLS fan!

Question: We already had to cancel our trip we had scheduled for March due to scheduling conflicts. Looks now like our only chance before Christmas would be week of Memorial Day. Also noted right on the heels of Memorial Day is Gay Days. Would we be insane to go that week if we arrived on Monday and toured Tue,Wed,Thur,Fri?

It will be the busiest week in May to go. We've gone that week for the last 4 years. Last year was the worst as far as crowds, so we've moved it back to the week before through Memorial Day. If you are staying on property and know your way around and understand fast pass, you will be ok. Good Luck
